"Walter?"

Paige sighed. She never seemed to be able to find the genius. Usually the other members of the team would know where he was, but she had given up the second she spotted them all staring at computer screen. Probably doing some long math equation or something she wouldn't understand.

"Walter, where are you?" She climbed the stairs of the flat, frustrated. He could just answer and make this easier for her.

Instead she had to look for him. Reaching the top landing, Paige looked to her right first. Walter was a few feet away, oblivious to her arrival. He was hunched over his computer and typing rapidly. From the stiffness of his shoulders, she could tell he had not move in a while.

Paige walked over to her genius employer, smiling. She placed her hand on his back to snap him out of his daze. "Walter?"

He reacted to her touch quickly, turning to look at her. "What is it?"

"I was looking for you," she explained gently. "You didn't hear me."

Walter shook his head, "I was busy." He turned to look back at the brightly flashing screen and resumed his previous position. "I was developing this computer program that could simulate human emotions, if only I could get it to understand the concept of morality.."

"Walter," Paige repeated. "Are you too busy to talk to me?"

The dark haired man stopped typing, surprised. Finally, he spun his chair to completely face her. "Of course not. What would you like?"

"I wanted to show you something. It has to do with Ralph," the blonde placed her purse on the table and rummaged around in it. Walter watched her curiously. He cared if anything was wrong with the little boy. After a few seconds, Paige pulled out a seemingly empty folder.

"Here," she said, handing it to him.

Walter took the object and opened it, frowning. He pulled out the white sheet of paper and looked at it. His expressions changed slightly, though she could not tell what he was thinking. Then he glanced back up at Paige. "Ralph wrote this?"

The young mom nodded, "Yes."

Walter struggled to try and convey his strong emotions. Eventually he gave up. "Thank you for...showing me that."

The genius shifted his eyes back down to the paper one more time before handing it back to Paige. She took it and smiled at him, her joy visible on her face. When Ralph was good, she was good. And she knew that her son was finally content being who he was.

A cyclone is a group of scorpions. They live together, support eachother, and love eachother. Our group of scorpions is Walter, Happy, Toby, Sylvester, and Mom. Mom is my family. Walter is my new dad. I am..happy.

A/N

Yep, so this is my first attempt at Scorpion fanfiction. These one shots will be short drabbles, probably only 500-1000 words. I will most likely use prompts from the Mega Prompts list. I adore the Happy/Toby pairing, they are amazing. Please read and review!
