Disclaimer: Sadly I don't own NCIS, otherwise this Rivkin guy would have never appeared!!!!
This is just a little something I made up yesterday. Hope you like it, otherwise just don't read. You're not forced:-)
"My little sister Tali was killed in a Hamas suicide bombing. … She was 16 and the best of us, … Tali had compassion."
Ziva wasn't sure herself why she told him that. After all he was almost a stranger to her. He's been standing out there in the rain and somehow she had felt sorry for him.
She knew what it was like, having to follow someone, observe him. But at least when she did, it was worth the boredom, because it worked. Never ever had someone realised it when she had followed them.
Agent DiNozzo on the other hand was not very good. She knew he was following her the moment she left the Navy Yard.
When she approached him she could not avoid to realise that maybe she had a false impression of him. There was some indefinable strength coming from him.
Observing, she gave him the coffee. He was … cute. There was no other word for it. Immediately she scolded herself. She was on a mission here, she had to protect Ari, no time for weakness now. What if he noticed? Ziva David, she thought, you're one strange woman!
Then she saw him being about to throw that pizza box in the bin. There it was, the chance to show him she was not weak, that she was way better than him. She knew everything. "There is a slice in it." The last thing she wanted then was pizza, but now she had to eat it. Yuck! Pizza and coffee. But from the outside nothing was showing and she chewed bravely.
"My little sister Tali was killed in a Hamas suicide bombing. … She was 16 and the best of us, … Tali had compassion."
Then she said that. Why did she do that? Perhaps it was this strange situation. It was dark and raining. They stood there together, sipping their coffee, it just sort of slipped out. Somehow she felt she could tell him…
Now back in her hotel room she shook her head as if to loose those thoughts by doing so. It was a strange night, she was tired. That's why she told him.
However when she lay in bed a few minutes later one last thought crossed her mind before she drifted off to sleep:
You can trust him. Whatever the future holds for you, trust him! Never screw him over…
So that was it. Hope you liked it, but don't really care if you don't.
End
That last part I just have to write due to the current situation. Ziva can't be a traitor. Oh and Tony can't die!
