"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" A scream resonated through the air of Magnolia. Birds flew away at the sound. It could be heard for miles. In the mage guild: Fairy Tail, the shriek could be heard quite distinctly. It was a recognizable sound to the members.
"What's Natsu done now?" Gray chuckled to no one in particular.
In response to this, Erza said with a deadly glare "I don't know but if he dares defile Lucy's honour I WILL MURDER HIM!!!
Everyone nearby shivered and wished Natsu good luck.
Meanwhile . . .
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"Geez Luce, could ya' be any quieter. Me an' Happy are tryna' sleep" Natsu said, his eyes barely open.
"First of all, Natsu stop sleeping in my bed! Second of all, Grammar and third of all, I HAVE A GREY HAIR!!!"
"Uuuugh. Is that all?"
"Lushi, be quiet. You look heavy with or without it!" *sigh* the unmistakable voice of Happy Dragneel. Really pushing his chance to live, angering the blonde beast. Of course, she knew he didn't really mean it but with her moods the way it is . . . Poor Happy.
"SHUT IT CAT!!! DO YOU REALISE WHAT THIS MEANS?"
"IT MEANS I'M GROWING OLDER!!!" Comical tears started to sprout out of Lucy's eyes. Pretty soon, she was full on bawling.
Natsu and Happy sweatdropped.
"WAAAAAAH!!!! ALL MY BEAUTY!!! MY FEMININE CHARMS!!! EVERYTHING ALL GONE!!! PRETTY SOON, I'LL BE AN OLD LADY WITH 99 CATS!!!" Seeming to stop crying at the thought, she pondered it a bit before bursting into more tears.
"*GASP!!!* I'M GOING TO BE A CAT WOMAN!!!!!!!!! MY LIFE IS OVER!!!!"
"Geez Luce, way to go all Juvia on me." Natsu muttered before speaking loudly.
"I don't know what ya' cryin' about, Luce"
"W-What?" She sniffled.
"You're pretty even if you have a grey hair. Everyone knows that! You're nice and smart and that's all what matters. What ya' have on the inside."
Lucy looked at Natsu in shock before creating a fresh batch of tears. Don't worry though, these were happy tears. She hugged Natsu tightly. He looked at her in surprise before slowly wrapping his arms around her.
It felt right.
(Of course they ignored Happy's purr of "They likeeeeee each other!!!")
With the days to come, Lucy had no more qualms about growing older.
She decided to live life to its fullest.
