KATNISS POV:
I let out a loud shriek as an arrow impales the tree in front of me; I turn around and see Gale. Gale is my best friend, and my neighbor. We've been best friends for about 2 years now. I look at him in shock. "Gale you scared the crap out of me". He smiles and says "hi there catnip". When he first met me he thought my name was catnip so now that's what he calls me. "I got 3 squirrels so far" I say. Gale smirks and says "I got 4". He hands me his Squirrels because I'm going to trade them to for some bread. I start to walk away when gale says "katniss wait I forgot to tell you im moving." I turn around and say "why the hell would you leave district 12?" He sighs and says "Katniss its for my family, my mom found a great job in district 5" I was mad that he didn't tell me earlier. "when are you leaving"? I ask. " Tomorrow really early"he says. I turn around and give him a big hug. "I'm gonna miss you" we both say at the same time. "whos moving in your house" I ask. He shrugs and says "I think the Mellarks".
