At the center of the lake
Cold seeps into my bones
I'm so tired of waiting
I'm ready to go home
Just a stupid mermaid
Was just a stupid plan.
Floating here, its easy to
See things got out of hand
I'll just float away
there's no hero
for me
today…

It is a big stupid lake
How hard can it be
To search the enclosure
And find Dean?!
It's not supernatural
Out here, that worries me
It's cold water that makes
Me shiver when I see
Blue tinged lips
Struggle to scream.
I row faster, to
Bring him to me
"Wake up! Show me
Your stupid grin!"
He's as still as the water
As pale as ice, but then-
"S'mmy? Is it really you?"
With blankets to spare,
I smile softly. "Yeah."
And start to dry his hair.
"Dreams come true,"
he says half asleep,
"I'm home and you
Came back for me."
