She Saw It
Astoria Greengrass sat on the bench that overlooked the rose gardens. There was no one else there, but there was very rarely anyone present there on a weekday at that precise time.
She went there every Tuesday. She stayed from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
It was routine that few people understood.
When Daphne asked why she bothered when she first started, Astoria proclaimed that she'd meet her soulmate that day at that time. She had a vision when she first got out of Hogwarts, and Astoria knew it was true.
Unfortunately, visions weren't an exact science, so although she knew the day of the week and an estimated time, she didn't know the exact time or the exact day. Hence, her Tuesday routine.
Astoria finished her cheese and crackers snack, another routine of hers since she got hungry before she left to go home, and pointed her wand at the wrapper. "Evanesco," she muttered, and the garbage vanished from sight.
She pointed her wand at nothing and said, "Tempus." The time said 6:13.
She sighed. Maybe today wasn't going to be the day either. Astoria looked up at the sky at the dark clouds that had been steadily getting darker as the afternoon wore on. She wearily eyed them, fearful they were going to soon open up. Maybe she should cut her stay shorter and get home before the rain started.
Astoria stood up and fidgeted. She had never left before 6:30 and hated the thought of leaving early today.
Today could be the day, and she'd miss him if she left. She sat back and steadily kept saying the Tempus charm. At 6:27, the rain started. It wasn't even a light drizzle but pouring rain that pounded against her like a drum.
She stood up. "Okay, three minutes early isn't that bad."
She got ready to Apparate but something caught her attention. She stopped. Her eyes met a man's across the garden. They stared at each other, mouths opened wide. His face was flawless, and her heart beat erratically within her chest.
She walked over to him, the rain no longer bothering her quite as much, except for one thing. She stopped in front of him. "I've been waiting to meet you, and it figures that I look like a drowned kneazle when we finally do."
He smiled. "I think you look beautiful."
She bit her bottom lip. "Maybe we should get out of the rain?"
"I don't know. I think rainy might be might be my new favorite weather pattern."
She took his head. "Come on. Let's go." And she side-Apparated them away, knowing in the pit of her stomach that this man was her soulmate.

(Note: I purposely left who Astoria's soulmate is ambiguous. That way, you can make it whoever you want.)
