It was a cold, snowy night. Many were indoors, but somewhere somewhere in the wilderness, a teenage boy was trying to make his way home,"c'mon I know it's this way," mumbled the young man as he headed in the. Direction of his cabin. This was like a regular routine for him, hunts, get lost in a blizzard, and find his way home.

While only a mere 29 feet away from his cabin he noticed a small, shivering wolf pup. Nomally when one sees a wolf pup they would nomrally chase it off, but this pure white wolf cub looked cold, abandoned, and needs a place to stay, so it doesn't meet a terrible fate. Taking thing this in account, the boy even scooped up the wollf pup, and as he did, he noticed the Aurora Borealis, "guess I'll name ya Aurora," said the boy before he closed the door to his home.

The next day the pup had woken up, and surpisingly for a wolf cub, was calm about being in a human home. Afteer the boy gave the wolf some meat, he nooticed that it was a male. The pup ate rapidly likehet hadn't even in weeks. The young man kept placing meat infront of Aurora until the pup was full.

The end of the week the pup had grown so comfortable with the human, that Aurora actually started sleeping with the teenager, "I guess you're here to stay, huh?" Asked the boy," in response Aurora licked his face, and laid on his arm. Th two slept peacefully throught the night...

Two years later 1926, April.

Today was the boy moved into a town. From what little he heard of the town, it was known as Nome Alaska, where a halfbreed had saved the town only a year ago, "alright, Aurora you ready to go? Said Palan. The wol barked iin response, got up, and they went on the train that would arrive at Nome's first train station.

Aurora was forced to go in the pets' train cart for various reasons, so Palan decided to ride in the pets' cart, but one of the train's staff made him sit in the passengers' section.

In the pets' section Aurora simply laid in the doggy bed, "hey you," said a black and white malamute, "can you leave me be?" Asked Aurora. The malamute growled at him, "you don't dare talk to Steele like that, you fleabag! I know what you are! A wolf!" Yelled Steele for all to hear, "you know you, I simply wanted to take a nap, ad for the sake of my human not getting kicked off the train, II will simply move overhere," said Aurora as he dragged the doggy bed to the other side of th cart, and proceeded to make an atempt at sleeping.

"Excsuse me sir, can U go check on my pet dog?" Asked Palan, "of course! Just this way," said one of the workers. Once in the pets' section as soo as he walked in he saw several dogs gorwling at Aurora, takinng an old blanket he ran at them,"get back you sons of bitches!" The dogs imdiately shrunk back,"hey, boy are you okay?" Asked Palan. After a short look over he was assured that Aurora was okay, "sir, mat I take him into my room, so I don't have to worry about the other dogs ripping his head off?" Questioned Pale, "well, it's against the rules, but a pet's saftey should be assured, I'll ask my boss if it's okay,"

A couple of hours later the same man and whatAurora and Palan assumed was the boss walked into the room,"this is the boy who wanted to keep his dog safe, boss," said the worker, "young man, I cannot let you keep him in th cabin, some might be allergic to him, I can however, let the two of you stay in the back," said the boss,"well, it beats having Aurora getting killed, soI might as well take the offer," responded the boy, "and thak you for the offer, I don't know what I can do to repay you," added Palan, "you don't hve to, here on the train, we try to provide the best experience possible," said the worker, "well, once again, Tahnk you, thanks a lot," said the boy as the train's staff member led him to the back.
