It was a rare occurrence for Shifu to sleep all through the night. He had always been a light sleeper, even as a child.
So naturally, he assumed that with a big fat panda hogging the bed and lightly snoring the night away, he'd never be able to sleep.
Yet, to his surprise, he realized that he had never slept better his whole life.

The gong was struck, just as the sun's rays broke over the valley, as they did every morning.
And out in the hallway, the Furious Five stood as still as statues, not quite sure how to take saying "Good morning Master," to a Master that wasn't there.
