this one is kinda short... oh well, review
A tear fell from Emily's face as a gun was pointed at her by someone she would've never thought she'd be threatened by. Aaron Hotchner's hand shook as he held a gun to his girlfriend, and had a gun pointed at his head.
"Do it! Shoot the girl or I kill you," the unsub said to Hotch, pressing the gun against his head.
"No. I'm not going to shoot her, so you might as well just kill me," Hotch said tears pooling in his eyes.
"Aaron, just do it," Emily whispered.
Hotch shook his head. The unsub cocked the gun and another tear fell from Emily's face.
"Please don't shoot him. He's gonna do it," Emily said nodding at Hotch.
A single tear fell from Hotch's face as he shook his head again.
"I'm growing very impatient..." the unsub said tapping the gun on Hotch's head.
"Do it already!" Emily yelled.
Hotch didn't say anything. His arm was shaking as he held it out.
"Oh my god! Is he gonna do it?!" the unsub asked Emily.
"Yeah, yeah, calm down. He's gonna do it," she replied.
She took a look around the coffee shop one last time. She saw all the people on the floor, scared expressions. Her heart broke when she saw a little boy crawled up against his mother crying. She looked back at Hotch and he had another tear fall from his face.
"Do it," Emily whispered.
"I love you..." Hotch replied.
"I know.. I love you too. Go, do it."
"I'm sorry," Hotch said wiping a tear from his face.
Emily closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She yelped and fell to the floor as a bullet pierced through her right shoulder.
"NO! I said in the chest!" the unsub yelled smacking Hotch in the head with his gun.
The unsub pointed the gun at Emily and Hotch tackled him from behind. Emily bled and watched the men fight for the gun at her feet. Hotch punched the man in the nose finally grabbing the gun and standing up, shooting the unsub in the head. Hotch immediately ran to Emily and put pressure on her wound.
"Go tell the police outside we need a medic" he yelled to the other hostages.
He watched all the people run outside the coffee shop.
"It's gonna be ok sweetie, just hang on," he said holding Emily's shoulder.
"Thank you," she managed.
"You're thanking me for shooting you? How much pain are you in?" Hotch asked sarcastically.
"No, for punching him for me. His nose was totally broken before you shot him in the face," Emily said with a laugh, then a wince of pain.
Hotch gave her a sad smile as the medics rushed in.
"Are you ok?" she asked as she was put onto the gurney.
"I'm fine, it's nothing," Hotch replied touching his head, where blood now spilled out.
"Can you get him to the hospital as well?" Emily asked the medic.
He nodded and put Hotch in the ambulance with Emily.
"I'm sorry..." Hotch said taking Emily's hand.
"It's ok.. I would've shot you a long time before you did though," she said winking.
Hotch smiled and gave her a kiss.
"I'm sorry," he said one last time as they went to the hospital.
