"Scranton Baptist Church. This is it." Jim told himself aloud. He slowly turned into the church parking lot and stopped his Vahicle. As he got out of his tiny red car he immediately saw a familiar face. Kelly rushed up to him, hugging him tightly.
"Jim! What are you doing here? Why were you invited? This is so cool!" Kelly was a tad too over ecstatic over the situation. Jim had yet to meet another human being being as enthusiastic as Kelly was, and he had a feeling that he wouldn't either.
"Hey Kelly" Jim looked down at her left hand. She was trying to casually itch her face, but he knew that she was only trying to flaunt her engagement ring. "So, i take it you're engaged?"
"Yeah. His name is Tyler. Hes so cute. We make such a cute couple. You should see us. Even you would agree. But hes not here. I wish he was here. But hes on a business trip. I love weddings. So are you seeing anyone? Oh my god are you still single?" It was as if she never ran out of things to say. Jim sighed
"I actually just got out of a pretty long relationship. She cheated. Not much of a surprise, but it was tough." Jim smiled sweetly, attempting to escape from the wrath of Kelly. Just as she was about to talk Jim stopped her. "But i really have to use to restroom, I've beendrving for 2 hours and had a huge coke. So ill see you in there. It was nice talking to you Kelly" Jim waved.
Turning around he felt the urge to pat himself on the back. If only he had known to tell such an easy lie 2 years ago, he would have never had to listen to her stories. example: How her closet doors would not shut. But in an odd way it was refreshing to see at least one of his old pals from friendly Scranton Pennsylvania.
As he entered the church, the crowd was small. A couple people smiled an waved at Jim. Few came over and asked how he was doing and what he had been up too. When the time came for Jim to leave, everyone was upset. They were all rooting for Jim to win Pam over. But he had lost his battle to Roy, who did eventually marry Pam. He was told that the reception was a disaster. Kevin's band blew, Roy was hung over at the wedding and got insanely drunk at the wedding. He ended up passing out just in time for Pam to have to be left in the middle of the dance floor, waiting for Roy to come have their first dance together. The wedding never happened on June 10Th either. It was pushed to December instead.
Jim sat down inside the church. Phylis was sitting behind him. Stanley was towards the front. Even Creed was here. He almost looked as is he was passed out, but Jim didn't care. He wanted to see Pam. He wasn't still hung up on her, She was just his best friend. Jim's thoughts ended as the music began and the people started walking down the aisle. Who would have known that he would be here for Dwight and Angela's Wedding.
