EXT. BACKYARD - AFTERNOON
It's a sunny afternoon, two children are playing, Slenderman in the background. The video pauses.
ZOOM OUT
INT. COMPUTER ROOM - EVENING
Two teens, Jade and John, are sitting at a computer, the video paused on the screen in front of them.
JOHN
There. That's it.
John points to the figure in the background.
JADE
CLOSE UP: Jade
(Rolls her eyes)
It's just some creep.
JOHN
CLOSE UP: John
It's him. I swear it is. Look, I've found all these other photos of him.
John opens computer files, pulling up various photos of Slenderman.
CLOSE UP: Computer screen
I also have reason to believe that I know where his current whereabouts is.
JADE
You're full of it, John.
MEDIUM: Two teens facing each other
JOHN
It's true. All the evidence stacks up. It all points to an old farm a few miles away.
JADE
An old farm? Really? Because that doesn't sound suspicious.
JOHN
We can go there. If I'm wrong then you get to hold it over me forever. Please?
JADE
Fine. Only to get you to shut up though.
JOHN
I'll take that.
CAMERA FADES INTO THE PICTURES OF SLENDERMAN
EXT. FOREST - AFTERNOON
A car door slams, and the two teens get out of the car.
JOHN
(looking at the forest, disappointed)
This is it. This is the place
JADE
(Sarcastically)
Wow, this totally looks like a place for a psychopathic, never dying monster.
JOHN
Let's head home. This was a waste of time.
JADE
No. You dragged me all the way out here. We are going for a walk in which I exclaim victory.
JOHN
If you insist.
John begrudgingly follows Jade, and they explore the forest. There's a loud crack, and the camera falls to the ground.
BLACK OUT
EXT. FOREST - night
Jade slowly opens her eyes, and looks around. She pulls herself into a sitting position.
JADE
(confused and scared)
John?
She looks around, and sees a note stapled to a tree. The note is written in blood, and says 'CAN'T RUN.'
She turns around slowly, and sees the Slenderman standing behind her. The music spikes.
