"E-Elsa?"
The Snow Queen looked exuberant, but her sister was only confused. What happened, to make her like this?
Arms encircling her high collar caught her attention, and her gaze snapped up to meet the blonde's icy irises, forming a tenderly caring look of possession. A light dusting of blush covered the woman's face, and the younger could only stare into the eyes of her elder, unsure of the intent behind the look she was fixed with.
"Elsa?"
Shaking her head quickly, the matriarch of Arendelle refocused her eyes, noting her proximity to Anna's face. Retreating with a jerk and a mumbled apology, she felt shame at the burst of affection she'd shown her own blood, and attempted to let her gaze drop to the floor.
Instead, her chin was supported by a soft hand's grasp, and Elsa's eyes raked up to meet the teal portals to her sister's soul. Her cheeks felt hot, and Anna's words felt... not real. It was like a dream.
If it's a dream, she thought, this better be a good one.
Letting her magnetizing instincts take over, Elsa moved her lips closer to ones she loved to dream about. Anna, my Anna, was all her mind processed, as she felt a course of honeyed strawberry meet her lips. With a loud ringing inside her mind, other things were suddenly forgotten, as she pressed further, savouring the pliance and loving caress of the younger's tongue.
All at once, the distant ringing stopped, and Elsa was suddenly very aware of where she was; of her Princess' accepting embrace, her tongue running along her own upper lip, a breath gasped out, the name "Elsa" pronounced quietly as if it was the most important word in the world. A surge of guilt flashed through the monarch's being, with a fear that she'd be shut out of her life of contented closeness to her love. With a gasped mewl of fright, the Queen shrank back, her eyes unfocused. Anna's arms stopped her retreat solidly, giving her no outs. Crumpling into the grasp that held her, Elsa the Snow Queen screamed quietly, tears of crystalline frigidity escaping the edges of her shuttered eyes.
Anna would never tell her how long they lay against the wall together, as she picked up her older sister's insecurity and hopeful fear.
As soon as either could move, the red-headed royal moved the gently snoring girl to her bed, cuddling up to her close. When Elsa's eyes finally opened, her younger sister hovered close to her, licking her lips slowly.
