I don't own P and F.
The gray haired long bearded man shook his head.
"I'm sorry," he said, "You're name isn't inside the book."
"There has to be some mistake," Phinias said, "You know Isabella is the sweetest most good most compassionate person and she's sensitive."
"Son it doesn't work like that," the man said gently.
Isabella descended to the dark place. For Phinias however it was worse. He had lost Isabella. He loved Isabella and what was more he never stopped loving Isabella. Days seemed to lose its meaning. Time stood still. Phinias sank into a deep depression.
"It isn't fair," he ranted one day.
"Why," Ferb asked, "Because it's Isabella? Because you love her?"
"YES! IT'S NOT FAIR," he repeated louder
Ferb gently put his hand on top of Phinias's. He had an idea.
"Phinias remember when it was Candance going through this," Ferb asked.
Phinias broke out into a grin.
"Ferb," he said, "You're a genius"
"I am," Ferb asked.
"I just have to go down to where Isabella is and get her back," Phinias said hugging his brother.
"Phinias you can't do that. You're exposing yourself to what you went through in the past."
"Is that… it is… it's the sound of me not caring," Phinias said, "I would go through it as many times as I had to for Isabella."
Ferb looked amazed at his brother.
"You really love her don't you," he asked.
"Of course I do," Phinias said.
…
Isabella was in a dark cold place when she saw Phinias.
"Put your arms around me," he told her.
"Oh Phinias," she told him, "I knew you would come back for me."
Isabella didn't know what he faced getting to her. He would never reveal those hardships to her. She shouldn't have to know. She was with him. Nothing else mattered.
