"Cilan...Iris... Why do I have to stay here with the Pokemon?", whined Ash to his two friends. In a field near the bustling, hi-tech Opelicid City, they had set up camp. Now, Cilan had to restock on food and medicine, and Iris had some "personal business". It was their plan to leave their friend with the Pokemon, back at the camp.

Cilan sighed. "Ash, please understand. We have to have someone to watch over our Pokemon."

Ash glared at his green haired friend. "You know, that's what Pokeballs are for."

Iris scoffed. "Ash, don't be such a little kid."

Cilan nodded. "We'll only be gone a little while. Besides, Pansage is a natural leader! With his help, keeping everyone under control will bea breeze."

Pansage bowed to Ash. "Pan, Pansage. (I'll be here.)"

Iris glanced at the Pokemon. "You guys will be super good while we're gone, right?" All of the Pokemon nodded.

"Well," said Cilan, "I guess we're off."

As his two friends walked farther and farther away, Ash sighed. This was going to be a long day.
