"This time I'll have her fall right into my arms" Declan said to himself as he sat quietly in Fiona's loft anxiously waiting for Holly J's arrival.

She was unaware of the unexpected surprise she was in for. To her, today would be just another day of mani-pedi's with Fi but Declan had much more planned. He wanted to try one last time to win back the one girl he had such immense feelings for. With her and Sav being over, this was the perfect chance.

"Fi? Are you in here?" Holly J questioned as she walked into the loft.

Declan shot up with his heart racing faster than ever.

"Surprise!" He shouted to her with a grin slapped on his face.

"…Declan? W-what are you doing here? I thought-" She was speechless.

It's been so long since their last encounter. She thought that he was done with all these surprises.

"I heard about the recent breakup and thought I would come and cheer you up"

He approached her with open arms for a hug but she pushed back with the same shocked look on her face as before. She couldn't believe this was really happening again. She didn't want it to happen again. Holly J was strong but she couldn't handle another moment like this.

"Declan…why…why are you doing this to me?" Her voice started to get raspy from the pain.

She was ready to breakdown but she had to stay strong.

"What do you mean?" He was confused.

He thought she would be ecstatic. Could she really be done with him? He didn't what to think of this. He just wanted to belong to her so bad.

"I thought you would be glad to see me…"

He was hurt. The one girl he's been dying to see wasn't even a tad bit happy to him.

"Declan…" She could feel the tears building up.

"Declan, It was so hard from me to move on after we broke up. I was lost and confused without you…but then I found Sav. I didn't know how long it was going to last with him, but he made me happy again. He treated me like a queen." She started choking up as a few tears began to fall.

"When we broke up…I didn't know how I felt, but what I did know was that every thought led back to you. You were always on my mind, but I had to keep reminding myself that we couldn't be together again." She had to contain herself for a moment or she would have lost it all.

"Holly J…" He tried to move closer but she kept pushing back.

"Declan, I can't keep playing these games. I want to be with you so bad, but it just can't happen. I'm sorry I wasted your time here today but I just can't…WE can't keep doing this." She turned around as tears began pouring down her face and rushed out the door.

Declan stood there with absolutely nothing on his mind but one thing.

"I love you Holly J…and I will do everything in my power to make you see that" He wiped the few tears that began trickling down his face.
