An Average Day At CI5
Agent 7.1 of CI5 strolled aimlessly home from school after a particularly boring day. It consisted of events such as thunder storms, fifteen-hundred meter runs and a cover teacher for Latin. All in all Tayla Jackson couldn't possibly be more bored. She was a CI5 agent who worked for George Cowley; surely she should be doing something important or lifesaving?
'Afternoon!' came a shout from behind her. Tayla sighed and turned around to face her impending doom. He was standing there, bright as day and grinning at her, tall, curly hair and rather attractively dressed.
'Hello Goldilocks.' Tayla replied simply as he pulled the radio from his pocket, it crackled as a few words came across. They were something along the lines of 'stop dawdling around and find out if she's got something Doyle!' Doyle sighed, rolled his eyes and glared at her. Tayla glared straight back at him as she grabbed the radio from his hand and told her boss herself as Doyle seemed incapable.
'7.1 here, nothing new as per usual and please stop sending Doyle after me he's driving me crazy. Where's Bodie anyway?' She chucked the radio back to Doyle who shoved it back in his pocket.
'Well, that was informative.' Ray Doyle, agent 4.5 of CI5, commented, 'You do realise that he's going to kick your backside into a few rounds with Macklin once he sets eyes on you don't you?'
'Yes Doyle, but can I at least enjoy my victorious moment?' Tayla asked her voice full of sarcasm. Not many people got away with being rude to the boss. Not even her but she knew they all enjoyed it.
'No because you'll regret it later.' He grabbed at her arm, missed and almost ended up in some poor person's hedge.
You're still out of shape.' Tayla commented, helping him up as he glared at her. He brushed down his clothes and wandered towards his car.
'Well, I did nearly die Tayla, give me the credit.' He complained as he searched his pockets for his car keys.
'If you hadn't been so stupid and had locked your door you would never have gotten into this mess.' Tayla retorted.
'You'd better be careful 7.1, I am your superior officer and I can make you do fifty laps when we get back to base so keep your mouth shut.'
'Was that a threat Sunshine? Besides, no ranks in CI5 remember?'
'It may well have been a threat.' Doyle replied sliding into his seat. Tayla sat dejectedly on hers and mused over life, universes and everything for ten minutes.
'42.' she said suddenly.
'What?' Ray Doyle asked in confusion.
'You're an idealist.' She replied, as though saying that he should know what he was going on about.
'Just because I haven't seen Hitchhikers guideā¦' Doyle trailed off as he realised what he had just let slip, 'Oops.'
'Have you seen it then?' Tayla asked.
'No, but I have read it.' Doyle retorted. Tayla smirked in victory. The car spun around the corner into CI5 HQ and Tayla made a comment that his driving hadn't improved. Then Cowley walked up to her, she shrunk at little in front of him, trying to look innocent.
'Twenty-five laps 7.1.' Cowley ordered. She sighed but knew she had got off easy until Cowley shouted at her from behind.
'And just so you know where Bodie is you can have two rounds with him and Macklin after that!' Doyle smirked at her.
'Don't think you're getting off easy!' He called after her.
'Twenty-five laps too 4.5!' Ray Doyle smirk vanished and he sighed, he never got a break.
