A loving boyfriend

The only man she ever loved was dead. She would no longer feel the warmth of his lips against hers or the safeness of his arms of his tight embrace. With his lips now cold, his eyes forever closed, she would wander the earth, forever not whole. Because when he died, her took part of her soul. What reason is there to live, when your reason for living was six feet under in an oak coffin? His eyes would never light the darkness of a room or gaze into her eyes because he left years to soon. This wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't how it was meant to be. They were supposed to be together for all eternity. If only she could go back and change how things went. Because letting him get into the car is the thing she most regrets. But she can't go back and save his life. She looked down at the ring the he gave her when he asked her to be his wife. That day would never come and nor would the children they dream of having. I Ruthie Camden have lost my lover, my friend, the person that was supposed to be here with me till the end. His name was Martin Brewer, and I loved him with ever that I had. Our love for each other was like that of a story book. We had damsels in distress, evil villains, long journeys and more. We even had prince charming and his beautiful white horse. But our story ended before it could ever really begin. The only thing worse than a story with no ending, is a story that was never given a chance to be told. A story unfinished and untold, is the worst kind of story of all. I'm going to miss the calls late at night, how we'd sit up for hours, sometimes even till daylight. I will never understand why he was taken away from me. I don't want to live without him by my side. He was my other half, he was my life.

Later that day Ruthie Camden laid down in bed and closed her eyes. A few hours later, Ruthie Camden had died. She died of a broken heart because she and Martin were torn apart. There was no other man that could take his place and she knew that she would never find a man like him. How could she love another man or even try. Two days later Ruthie Camden was buried next Martin Brewer. Now they would be together forever side by side. But now everyone mourns the two lovers who died. Up in heaven there stood Martin on a path of white clouds waiting for his love to join him. And within moments Ruthie walked through the gates to see him standing there with a smile, his arms wide open to take her in an embrace. She saw him and ran, ran straight into his arms, and there she stayed with joy in her heart. He tilted her chin so their eyes met; he leaned in closer and captured her lips with his. No words were needed, for they both knew what each one was thinking. The two lovers walked hand in hand down the white cloud path with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts; because now they could never be torn apart.
