"What he means is, have fun." Chiron said and blew a blow horn. I clicked my pen and it turned into my sword. I ran towards the other team. I slipped under someone's legs and passed the crowd. I ran and ran till I came to the flag. I reached for it. My hand was slapped.

"No way, seaweed brain." Annabeth's voice called. She took off her cap and I could see her. She looked amazing in her armor. Wait…. Scratch that. Seriously, Travis when you rewrite that, scratch it. Anyway, I smiled.

"Really?" I grabbed the flag and dashed. Annabeth followed me like a shadow.

"You're not that fast." Annabeth said. I rolled my eyes.

"Then why haven't you caught me." I stuck out my tongue but I tripped on a root. I heard Annabeth fall too. She landed on me. She gave me an amuse look.

"Klutz." She laughed.

"You tripped, too!" I smiled. She smirked. She grabbed my free hand. I looked at our laced fingers.

It was really creepy how the dryads were pointing and laughing at us. I didn't care. We were close. And Annabeth didn't seem to see it. Then all of a sudden a squirrel came up and hit me in the head with an acorn. I rubbed it. I closed my eyes and smelled the dry leaves. I was surprised when Annabeth kissed my cheek and grabbed the flag.

"Lacey! Catch!" she yelled and threw it. Lacey caught it and ran back to base. Annabeth dusted herself off and stood. I stood.

"Gods, Annabeth, for a second there I thought-"

"I was going to kiss ya?" She said flicking a cricket off her jacket. , "That was what I was going for." She rustled my hair.

"Yeah. Um. So." I mumbled. Annabeth waved bye and sprinted to the flag. I groaned.

*After CTF*

I spotted Annabeth and walked over to her. I pushed her against a tree.

"You. You tricked me." I smiled. She blushed.

"That's how this works. You get tricked, I laugh hysterically." She laughed. I raise an eyebrow.

"Sometimes you attract me some times you disturb me." I grumbled. Annabeth got wide eyed.

"Excuse me?"

"Nothing." I sighed. She smiled and pulled me closer. We became closer and closer till Chiron took his cane and put it between us and pushed me away.

"Ms. Chase doesn't like to be squished, Percy." Chiron smiled. I smiled weakly. Annabeth gave Chiron a glare. , "And….. A public display of affection sickens me."

"Chiron, um. I wasn't-" Annabeth sighed.

"Coarse not…." He said sarcastically. Annabeth rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. Um see you late Annabeth." I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"Ms. Chase and I need to talk. So, good-bye Percy." Chiron mumbled. I walked away. In the distance I heard Annabeth arguing with him. I had one thought in my mind.
