EDIT JULY 31

At the top of page 289 and the top of page 292, does anyone know what went between Sophie and Jem? I'm sure the answer is really obvious and I just can't wrap my head around it. Thanks

Changed penname. Was dragonpurplepearl.

K so, I JUST GOT CLOCKWORK PRINCESS ON THE NINETEENTH AND FINISHED IT ABOUT FOUR HOURS LATER. Ahem. And I got twitter. DivergentNephil so follow me please!

At the end, there is some lines saying Magnus let Tessa sleep on the mattress under the window. And when she cries out for Will, Magnus holds her. And they go to New York. This is a tiny expand of that part. TINY.

I don't have my books with me now, I'm not at my house right now so, I don't know if the timelines are correct and in order. And stuff. Sorry.

The air is thick with excitement and joy as Tessa waits for Magnus. He promised to meet with her at the party and talk. She hasn't seen him in a while.

Tessa remembered the days where she crashed at Magnus'. She'd sleep in what they called, "Tessa's Mattress," under the window. But when night came, she dreamt of Will, dying and with her helplessly sitting with him. Or dreams that Mortmain would appear, and threaten to kill him, slowly, painfully and that the only thing that could save him was if she bore his children. Or that she had to kill him herself. She would wake screaming for Will, for Mortmain to stop hurting him and just kill her, despite the fact that Mortmain was dead, and so was Will.

Magnus would emerge from his bedroom and they'd sit there together. He'd tell her stories of his life before the 1800's. About his losses.

"The first one is always the hardest," he had said once.

Tessa, by this point had stopped sobbing and sniffed. "The first?" First heartbreak?

"The first one you love who dies," he spoke softly. "It gets easier after.

"I hope so." Tessa wiped her eyes on a handkerchief Magnus had handed to her.

"How about a nice vacation? New York?" Magnus mused. "I'm sure something dreadful is about to happen here."

When war came upon Paris, they did indeed go to New York. Tessa was amazed to see the changes.

After a few months, they parted. With promises to see each other again, Tessa traveled the world, with Jem, who wasn't a Silent brother anymore.****

She has seen him in Brazil, China, and Peru. But now, she waited patiently to see him again.

Scanning the crowd, she saw him for a second, but kept looking. Then her head snapped back and after further inspection, realized that this, sparkly person, was Magnus. It suited him though.

He spotted her as well, and said something to the blue eyed Shadowhunter. He looked like Will, the similarities were startling.*****

Magnus walked over and they talked. Talked about Downworlders who were still around. CoughCamillecough. Talked about places around the world, events.

It was only minutes, and Magnus bade her farewell. Tessa's eyes caught the gaze of the red headed girl. After a few seconds, she vanished. In

****K so I'm confused. He didn't SEEM to be a Silent Brother in the epilogue, but what's up with Brother Zachariah in City of Lost Souls?! YOU BETTER EXPLAIN THIS CASSIE! And I'm a hardcore TessaxWill shipper. But it seems that Tessa ends up with Jem in the end? I don't know, someone tell me.

*****Upon inspection of the family tree, Alec looks like Will, because Cecily, Will's little sister married Gabriel Lightwood. And then yea.

OH! And Church got to the New York Institute because Magnus took him. But what about Chairman Meow? And OMG WHEN THE ANGEL IN THE NECKLACE SAID HIS NAME I WAS LIKE, NO. WAY. AND-AND-AND CHARLOTTE HAD IZZY'S WHIP AND MAGNUS GAVE WILL WHO GAVE CECILY WHO HANDED DOWN THE RED PENDANT UNTIL IT GOT TO IZZY.
