The Chilton School Acceptance
After talking to Sookie after telling her about Rory being accepted to Chilton after Rory leaves the kitchen and goes to her office and picks up the phone and dial's Chris's number
Chris picks up ''Hello'' he says
''She got in she did it'' Lorelai tells him
''Lorelai…what are you talking about?'' he asks her
''Rory she got into the Chilton School I'm holding her acceptance letter in my hand right now as we speak this is it she will finally get to go to Harvard her dream school and get the education that I never got and we can finally have a normal mother daughter relationship''
''oh boy Lore that is amazing wait Chilton Academy the one in Hartford right?'' he asks her
''yes it is amazing and yes Chris there's only one Chilton in Hartford''
Chris just smiles on the other end
''ok listen I need to run and get back to work'' she tells him
''ok'' he says
''listen why don't you call your daughter after school to congratulate her and tell her how proud you are of her she hasn't talked to you in a while and I'm sure she would just love to hear from you'' she tells him
''ok I might just do that I was planning on coming by to surprise The Gilmore Girls in the next couple of weeks but I guess its not a surprise to you anymore but don't tell Rory so I can at least surprise her ok?''
''ok I won't Chris I think that would be nice you coming to visit us we haven't seen you in a while'' she says
''try 16 years talk to you later'' he says
''ok bye Chris'' she says and smiles and hangs up
