Hello, I'm back, and doing a HP oneshot. Unlike my PJO ones, this one contains no angst. I'm not too good at writing happy stuff, so let's see how it goes. It's set sometime in HP's 6th year, so Ginny would be fifteen.

Ginny Weasley's hands shook as she made her way up the stairs of the Burrow. She reached the top of the stairs and stopped. You have to tell them sometime, Mum and Dad were okay with it, she reprimanded herself, and tried to force herself to walk forward, but her feet seemed unresponsive to her wishes.

"Ginny?" Percy Weasley's head poked itself out of his bedroom door. "What are you doing? I have Ministry work, you know." This is your chance, a voice in Ginny's head said. But he's your favorite brother, what if he hates you?

"Ginny?" Percy's voice shook her out of her thoughts, and she realized she had been staring at his head.

Do it, now, Ginevra Weasley! She steeled herself. "Percy, can I… talk to you?"

"Is it urgent? I have papers to get back to the Mi-"

"Please." Her voice was barely more than a whisper. Percy looked startled, but he took her arm and gently dragged her into his bedroom, closing the door behind him and locking it with a muttered spell.

He sat her down on his bed, (tidy and neat, as usual) and bent down to her level.

"What is it?" He asked, his voice holding the tenderness that only a brother can show.

"Um…" She squeaked, terrified. "I'm not exactly sure how to say this, but- I'm- Um, I'm-"

"You're what?" Percy queried.

"I'malesbianandI''thateme!" She blurted out, then hid her face in her hands.

"What? I didn't understand an of that, Gin. Could you repeat that? More slowly?"

Ginny took deep, calming breaths. "I'm a- a lesbian, and I'm dating Luna Lovegood. Please don't hate me, Percy, you're my favorite brother, and oh I'll just go pack my things now-"

"Ginny." Percy stopped her. "You're an idiot."

Ginny's eyes filled with tears. I knew this would happen! I knew it!

Her head slumped in defeat, she stood up to leave when Percy grabbed her arm and pulled her to his chest.

"You're stupid for thinking that we would think any different of you for liking girls. You're still Ginny, it doesn't matter, and I've met Luna, I quite like her, and if anyone thinks any less of you, they'll have me to answer to. And I'm sure that the rest of the Weasley's will have something to say to them too." Ginny's eyes filled with tears and she hugged him back, when the door opened, and Fred and George stood there, holding Extendable Ears.

Ginny was prepared for an onslaught of vile accusations and harsh words, but all Fred and George did was exclaim in unison, "We thought we were your favorite brothers!" And hugged her close.

Later, she wrote to Ron, Bill and Charlie, and got the same responses. Later, as she stood on Platform 9 and ¾, her family smiled as her girlfriend Luna greeted her with a kiss, and waved hello to the Weasleys. And as she hugged her family goodbye, a tear slid from her brown eyes as she thanked God for having such a wonderful family.

Le end! I hope you like it, it's my first attempt at happiness… I don't think I did such a good job, what do you think?
