Chapter One...
'Positive' read the three pregnancy tests on the bathroom counter.
How did I end up like this you wonder? That's right, my boyfriend and only love left me just over a week ago. I can't believe I'm pregnant. Of course 'it', I mean the baby is his- he's the only man I've ever made love to...
I was already showing. I rested my hand on my small stomach and carefully brushed across it.
I realised I could not stay here. Not with the memories or the fact my baby was half human.
It was dangerous and no-one could know about this. I sighed deeply and began to pack a bag. I did not have much money and wondered what I was going to do. What was I going to do?
I knew very little about my pregnancy. I needed to knowledge- after all this was thought to be impossible...
Pausing slightly, I noticed the corner of what seemed to be an envelope sticking out of my dresser. Slowly I removed it and looked at it more closely. I froze.
There on the front was my name and it was from none other than Alice Cullen. I drew back a sob. Her name only reminded me of what used to be.
The package was still in my hands.
Cautiously, I opened it. Out fell a scribbled note on a piece of white paper...
It read: Dearest Bella,
I had a vision that you would be needing this money- $50,000.
I'm so sorry Bella,
Until we meet again,

I don't know what happened to me at that moment, but I knew that I had to leave- and know.
Tearing a page from my notebook, I wrote a note to Charlie telling him that Forks was no good for me and I kind an escape. I kissed the note and left it on my dresser.
With that I grabbed the package, my bag and purse and fled to Phoenix, where my mother would help me....
