It's not surprising I, Edward Cullen did not have many friends.
Jasper Whitlock and Emmett McCarty, where the only exceptions to that statement. Surprisingly, they both had girlfriends.
Sure, Ben Cheney who worked at the library was pretty nice, but the only thing he did in his spare time was make out publicly with his girlfriend Angela Weber.
"Hey Ben!"
He quickly wiped of the excess lip-gloss that remained on his lips. I chuckled and sighed. What I wouldn't give for that to be me.
I quickly shook my head and sighed again.
Are you wondering why that is- that I don't have many friends?
I'm what you call a 'geek.'
My lean 6ft frame did not attract the ladies as much as I would like. In fact any attention from girls would be nice.
The untameable copper hair was a startling contrast to the vibrant green of my eyes. I had the typical black framed glasses that everyone thinks are cliché.
Sure I didn't have acne, and for that I am grateful, but after all- it wouldn't make a difference if I did have it or not.

As I gazed into the mirror, I wondered what it would be like to have it all, a girlfriend and popularity. I removed my glasses from the arch of my nose and rubbed my eyes.
I was stressing lately. There was a math test coming up on Wednesday and I was really worried about it.
I was interrupted from my thoughts by my cell phone.
Pressing thing call button, I lifted the phone to my ear.
"Hey Edward!"
Ugh she was really too perky in the morning. It was only 7.
In case you wondering who I'm talking to, it would be Alice Cullen my only sister. Her boyfriend was Jasper and he towered over her with him being 5'11" and Alice a tiny 4'11" at the most.
I responded with a quick hey.
"Soooo...guess what. You have a date tonight so you better be ready by eight and be waiting at La Bella Italia. Oh! By the way, her names Bella!"
Before I could even argue the matter she had hung up.I groaned softly and silently napped thinking of the prospects to come.
