The rain soaked through his clothes; he shivered slightly because of it, Shinji smiled.

"Akira-kun is cold?" His voice was soft and quiet; it was barely heard over the rain. Kamio rolled his eyes.

"Don't make fun of me Shinji, besides you're soaked too; speaking of that, aren't you cold?" Shinji's slight smile turned to his normal split line; Kamio longed for the occasionally occurring smile once more.

"Hardly…"

"That's a lie." The heavy rain continued to bead down onto the metal roof and rackety windows of the clubroom, creating a noisy setting.

Shinji ignored the statement and quietly started to the back of the clubroom. The drops of water from the strands of his hair fell down to the ground, one drop at a time, creating miniature puddles on the tiled floor.

"I'm going to take a shower… no peaking." Shinji called out, although like before, you could hardly hear his calm toned voice.

"Hmph, like I would." Kamio replied back, his lips beginning to curve upward, just a little anyway.

"You just might."

"It almost sounds like you want me to." Neither spoke; only the rain persistently beating on the roof and windows.

"Maybe." Kamio sighed at his friends' response; it was really hard to know when that guy was kidding and when he wasn't.

"Whatever." Kamio turned around and sat on a nearby bench. He leaned back just a little right when the sound of the shower engulfed the room.

The rain was still pouring; the rain and the shower engulfed the room, the two together were so loud that it would be impossible for anyone to try and hold a conversation.

Kamio looked around; it was really dark in gray, the only light was coming in through the window thanks to large silver moon that was getting reflected off the small, single rain drops.

Kamio yawned, rain made him sleepy, although he knew he couldn't sleep, he would most likely catch a cold and that wouldn't be good at all. He stood up from the bench and walked back to where the showers were; he frowned wanting to take a shower too, unfortunately he accidentally left his tennis bag open when it started pouring so all of his extra clothes were soaked so he had nothing to change into.

Kamio closed his eyes and leaned against the wall of the shower stall that Shinji was in.

"Are you okay Akira-kun?" Shinji asked, Kamio wasn't sure exactly how the other could always sense when he was near, but he didn't actually mind. He would rather be noticed than be forgotten.

"Yeah, I am." Kamio frowned; Shinji hadn't said anything back which meant that obviously he didn't believe him. The rain was still pouring, banging on the roof, Kamio began to wonder just exactly when it was going to let up.

"Akira-kun…" the other started, it was so quiet, he was serious about something Kamio hardly heard it.

"What?" Kamio spoke, the other hadn't said anything, was he upset about something? Kamio jumped once he felt a warm, wet hand grab onto his wrist. "Shinji?" before he say anything else he was pulled in between the wall and the dark purple curtain that separated the shower from the outside world.

Neither said anything as Shinji held onto the other in a tight embrace, neither actually knew why it felt so good to them, it's just hugging, but for whatever reason it did, and they both desperately wished they could stay there forever.

The rain was still coming down, although not as hard as before, but even so, the two in the clubroom hardly noticed it, they didn't care; at the moment, the only thing they were focused on was each other.
