DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN SOUL, THIS IS A DELETED CHAPTER FROM MINI SOUL AND MAKA STORY

Maka screamed as she closed her manga, frustration blazing in her vivid green eyes. Soul turned his head to her worried as tears filled her eyes.

"Maka, what's wrong why did you scream?" he asked worried as he tried to find the source of her anguish.

"It's stupid," she replied as she placed her head in her arms.

"Come on Maka, please tell me," Soul pleaded as he eyed the blond beside him. Finally she held up the book she was reading.

"Luos Snave?" Soul questioned quirking an eye at the girl. The story was about a School called the DWMA, where weapons and miesters were trained to kill demons called Kishin's by the god of death himself. The main male protagonist was named Lous Snave, a scythe weapon whose miester was a bookworm named Kama Barnla. They had been through lots together and the sexual tension the two had was frustrating for the readers. Turns out it w at the final battle and the two were so close to admitting their love that it was frustrating Maka to no end. Soul read through the first few pages before having Maka jerk the book from his grasp.

"See, the love is frustrating!" she growled before placing the book in her backpack.

"When do we get the next issue?" he asked actually liking the somewhat cool manga.

"Next month," Maka answered grudgingly as Soul pouted beside her. The main character, Luos seemed very cool with his black hair spiked in all areas, Cool orange letterman jacket. Not to mention he played an awesome guitar.

Maka was more enthusiastic about the blue eyed white haired girl Barnla. She was everything Maka wanted to be. Plus, she was in love with the coolest guy in school, much like she was. Sneaking a glance towards Soul she noticed the small similarities. Both were very loyal to their friends and they would rather die than see the person closest to them hurt. It was sad that Soul and Luos were not the same person. It made her even more envious at the fact that the girl in the manga was so different from her. Sure, Soul might sacrifice his life for her. However, they would never be placed in a situation like that; at least she hoped so.

"Maka, why are you staring at me like that?" Soul asked eyeing the girl.

"No reason, let's go play on the swings after school." she smiled as Soul shrugged in agreement. Later after school the two were at the swings, Soul pushing Maka as always when the pigtailed girl turned to her friend.

"Aishiteru, it means I love you." Maka smiled as Soul paused pushing her.

"Aishiteru," he repeated as the two leaned into kiss. This time it wasn't as slobbery, but it was still gross.

"I may love you, but you still have cooties." Soul smirked as Maka huffed in anger.
