She never tired of his lips. They were full and soft, inviting her to press her own mouth against them, but there was much more to them than being fuel for women's lusts. Even when he was angry, the words that crossed those lips were never purposely spiteful, and if what he said came out jagged and sharp it hurt him just as much than whoever they were meant for. Even then, he always tended to apologize once his temper had cooled, and then he would smile.

Oh, that smile! It could melt an entire ice planet, turn it into the hottest sun. White, straight teeth dazzled from behind lips with their corners turned up to make dimples in his cheeks, and each time she was graced by such a smile she could only think of how she wished to press her mouth to those twin indents, to trace them with her fingertips. They were two complete opposites, he and she – he cracked jokes and made Earth references she would never understand, and she let her Peacekeeper training keep her serious and introverted – but when he took her into his arms she felt as if they were two halves of the same being. She loved him, even if it was hard for her to tell him so. He had no such troubles. He could just as easily tell her how he felt as he could describe the weather.

He was speaking, but she heard nothing. She was so focused on watching his lips move, the way his tongue darted from between his teeth to supply them with moisture, that by the time he had finished and stood there looking at her she could only stare dumbly back, completely aware that he was waiting for her to say something but clueless as to what that was.

"Um," she stammered, hating how a simple Earth man could make her feel so weak, and without making a single motion beside that smile. "I…well…"

Once more, that million-watt grin shone upon his face, and he reached out and pulled her to him. His velvet-soft lips pressed against hers, and her eyes slid closed as she relished their feel. It only lasted a few seconds, but in that time she felt as if an entire cycle had passed around them. When he drew away at last, she sighed softly and looked up at him. Unsurprisingly, he was smiling.

"You wanna hear what you missed?" He asked, his voice lowered so that only she could hear him even though they were alone.

She nodded.

"I said, you're beautiful. The most beautiful creature in any galaxy."

And then he kissed her again, so hard and long that her legs turned to rubber and her vision went blurry.
