Pick up Lines
The gryffindor common room about its usual self. Ron was staring at one Hermione Granger whom he had liked since first year but didn't have the guts to say it. He knew he wasn't good with words and that he would just embarrass himself if he tried to say anything to her. Now he sat at the other side of the common room so he could look at her and get away with it in the crowed place.
She moved a few strands of hair from her face with elegance and he wished he could do it for her. Just then the twins came and sat either side of him.
"Hello little brother!" they said in unison
"Hey," Said Ron gloomily
"Does life suck? Can't get the girl you want? Don't know what to say to her?" they said sounding like an advertisement.
"No its just fine," replied Ron.
"Of course it isn't, look you're our brother and we look out for you, we know you like Hermione so there's no point denying it to us. We actually have some advice for you"
Ron was going to object then he thought how good Fred and George were at getting girls and said "Fine give me your advice," Said Ron trying not to sound excited.
"This book," They held up a book that read 'Pickup Lines for Real Wizards'
They handed him the book then left talking of some other 'important' business.
Ron opened the book to the first Pick up line.
Do you want to head to the Shrieking Shack? We could do some shrieking of our own.!
He walked over to where Hermione was sitting.
"Hey Hermione" He smiled nervously
"Hi," She replied
He just went straight into the line "Do you want to head to the Shrieking Shack? We could do some shrieking of our own."
She looked up red in the face confused.
"Do I what Ronald Wesley!" She said angrily, offended like any girl would be.
He realised she was really angry when she said Ronald. He fled the common room wanting to kill Fred and George for their crappy line that made people angry not fall madly in love. He had just fathomed what the line meant.
