Kaiba walked further into the forest, becoming more and more lost with every step. He had no idea where he was headed, but yet, he refused to express that. His eyes began to get filled with a slight bit of concern. As he paced slowly, he began witnessing things he never wanted to see. There were so many deformed creatures, it made Seto want to hurl.
What seemed to be a doe of some sort, had three watchful eyes, the color of spring grass. Her antlers were all out of whack, like a complex puzzle. Her back legs were the brightest color of blue Kaiba had ever seen!
"What...the...heck...?" Seto asked himself.
He scratched his head in wonder, and then rolled his eyes. This place was beginning to really upset him. He couldn't believe that a place like this could be existing, or did he at all? Kaiba just wanted reality back.
He groaned, "This must be another mind trick. This all gets so old."
He motioned past the doe, with a look of disgust. The creature just watched Seto pass by, then skipped merrily the opposite way to find some food. She was suprised to run into a squirrel, with red eyes and a pair of bat wings. The doe came to a halt, and prepared herself for a question of some sort from the furry creature.
The squirrel squeaked some words, that sounded like just plain nonsense. He wanted to get even with Seto Kaiba, for mistreating him so badly. So, the doe nodded, and squeaked some words back, stating where he was headed towards. The squirrel then grumbled, and drifted off to find him.
Seto kept walking, feeling a bit tired from all this walking. More odd looking creatures kept popping from out of nowhere, and curiously staring at this guy. He just wasn't pleased with this. Yes, Kaiba was getting to the point where he could not stand these "fuzz balls" any longer.
"Alright you creepy, disgusting beats! I don't want any of you to cross my path again! This mind game is becoming a nightmare!" Kaiba screamed while sticking a finger out at a bird with six wings.
The animals seemed offended, then scurried off. There weren't anymore little eyes peering through bushes, or any flying creatures stalking him. They all went separate ways, and others the same particular direction that Seto wasn't going. Still, the weird squirrel followed Kaiba, and started smirking evilly.
The little critter was about to strike. He made a large grin, with saliva hanging from all his teeth. He picked up his speed, and aimed right for Kaiba's right hand; the one holding the brief case. In shock, he dropped the case, and let out a yell. Blood dripped from his hand, as a little squirrel looked up, smirking with a bloody smile. Seto was angry, no, Seto was furious! He kicked some dirt at the red eyed squirrel.
"Scram bucky!" he snapped.
Kaiba dropped to his knees, grasping his wrist that was attatched to his bleeding hand. He clutched his teeth, and felt his eyes squinting as his wounded hand twitched every couple of seconds.
"Why don't you scram, brief case boy?" the squirrel retorted.
Kaiba raised his head and glared at the squirrel. "Y-you can...talk? This mind trick is getting all the more amusing..." he said sarcastically.
He crawled to a tree, and leaned up against it, still grasping his wrist. His brief case stayed in its place, and appeared to be of a more white-ish color other than silver. Kaiba could've sworn he saw it glowing too.
"Yes, I can talk...now I will make you face your doom!" the squirrel cackled.
Seto was helpless. He didn't know what to do to this creature. He just wanted to go home, to not be alone anymore. He was beginning to feel like this was all real, and about ready to give up.
To be continued...
