A/N: Welcome to my Joshaya string of one-shots, each from the a different part of the story of Joshua Matthews and Maya Hart. These may also be continuations from my AU edits from my instagram account girlmeetschachi (Go follow me!) Enjoy :)

"It's been a while."

"Sure has."

"Well, you grew up gorgeous."

Well damn, what a boy like that could do to a blonde like her.

Christmas. One of Maya's favorite holiday's. Spending time with the Matthews, opening presents, singing Christmas songs, and eating food till your stomach bursts. But this year was different, this year she was going to spend an awful amount of time with a certain 16-year old brunette.

Later that evening, as the family settled in to the living room to quiet down, Maya noticed that he wasn't there. (He being that gorgeous uncle of Riley's named Josh.) She sneaked out of the room and into Riley's where she could see puffs of smoke coming from out of the bay window.

She climbed outside to see Josh, standing there with a cigarette in his mouth, and half a pack still in his hands.

"I didn't know you smoked." She said, moving closer to the gray clouds. He turned towards her, still puffing smokes with a smirk on his face.

"I didn't know you cared." He said. She just shrugged her shoulders, and grabbed the lit cigarette straight from his mouth.

"Mind if I try?" She asked, trying her best to act seductively, even if she was only 13 years old.

He chuckled. "I don't think that's safe Miss Hart, unless you'd like to die an untimely death of lung cancer."

"What about you?" She asked.

"What about me?" He answered.

"Why would a smart boy like you wanna die of lung cancer?"

"I don't think anyone would care if I died. Especially like that." He answered, taking the cigarette from her hand.

"I would." She replied. "I would care if you died." She moved close enough to him that their noses were touching.

"I'm three years older than you Maya." He said, not daring to look her in the eye.

"When has that ever mattered to you?" She asked.

"Can I do something?" He whispered in her ear, nibbling on it when he was finished talking.

"Anything." She answered.

He moved his hands to cup her hips, and closed the space between them, to gently touch her lips in an innocent kiss. She cupped his stubbly face and pressed deeper into it, soon drenched in a feeling she couldn't even describe. Sparks sizzled between their lips, and they dared not break apart for air, fearing that the spark would leave, and they would be left to their lonely lives again.

"You kissed me." She finally said, breaking them apart.

"I did." He responded satisfyingly.

"Why?" She asked.

"I wanted to know what it felt like to finally kiss you. I've been meaning to do that for a while you know?"

"Well, what did it feel like to you?"

"I don't know." He said, faking a frown. "I think I'll have to taste it again." He chuckled darkly, before bringing her close again, and sweeping her away with another kiss.
