Legend:
There once, before anything, existed a beast of a thousand tails known as Hajime. This beast was feared by all and it haunted all lands and villages. Hajime was considered to be as old as time itself, older than any beast. When the Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed away inside the body of an infant, Hajime mysteriously vanished. Many believe that Hajime fled in order to escape its own death while others believe it was secretly sealed away like the Nine-Tailed Fox. Even today noone knows the truth of what happened to Hajime. Its story has, overtime, become nothing but a legend.
CHAPTER ONE:
Osaki Karina sat on her bed. She stared down at the headband which she held in her hands. She never took the time to wear it, she did not really have the motivation and no real reason to wear it, in her own opinion. It wasn't as if anyone would actually care. No one really paid attention to her, not even in her academy years had anyone acknowledge her existance. With a deep sigh she let the headband fall to the floor where it landed with a thud. She covered her face with her hands. That symbol was on every headband, at least every headband which belonged to anyone who lived in the land hidden in the wind. It was supposed to be something which was worn out of pride, showing that they have become an actual ninja. It was a symbol of courage and it also was highly respected. However, for Osaki Karina, this symbol was like being stabbed in the heart with an unusually sharp knife. It was on every headband, including that of her father and brother's headbands. They died, along with her mother, during the time when the Nine-Tailed Fox was at war with the Hidden Leaf Village.
