Chapter 1: Safe Landings?
"Remind me again why were sat in the park, in the pouring rain and fog." Felicity groaned miserably. In answer, thunder rumbled around them, dark black and purple clouds hung ominously over the three girls. Amanda shook her head to get the water that hung in her fringe off. "Good point, let's go home." Crystal, Felicity's identical twin sister stated. Both girls had blonde hair that fell down just beneath there shoulders and their eyes were a light blue. Amanda on the other hand had dark chocolate brown hair, that hung to the middle of her back, her eyes were a strange mixture of green and blue. She nodded her agreement and dashed after her friends as they fled from the rain towards their home. Lightning flashed and the thunder roared! The ground began to shake. "What the." Amanda yelped. "Crystal! Felicity!" She cried as a lightning stroke leapt down towards them and all three girls screamed as the bright light dazzled them. After that, everything went fuzzy for a while. "Oh my gosh!" Amanda cried as her feet left the ground and then.she found herself crashing down through branches, with golden leaves. She closed her eyes tightly before she stopped on a particularly large branch. She opened an eye to find herself in a tree. ' A tree? How the heck did I get in a tree?' Gulping, she began to carefully make her way down, she appeared to be in some kind of forest. A golden forest, ' Its quite pretty actually' she thought. "Ahhhhh!" she screamed suddenly, distracted by the tree's she had lost her footing and now plunged towards the ground, then everything went black. "Oh what a rush" Crystal moaned. She wasn't in a tree, oh no. She was in fact, on a roof. "This is not good" She groaned and began looking for a way down. Then she saw.' No way! ' she thought! It can't possibly be an.' It was an elf. His mouth hung open at the sight of the girl who had just dropped onto the roof from thin air. Figwit rubbed his eyes. Maybe he should go tell Lord Elrond about this, or go dip his head in a barrel of water. "Um.excuse me, Mr Elf." Crystal said squinting. " Oh my gosh you're Figwit! " She squealed. "Yes, Miss" Figwit answered bewildered. "Um.Can you help me down?" "In a minute, I have to go tell Lord Elrond first" Figwit gulped and ran as fast as he could towards Lord Elrond's study. All the time trying to think how much wine he had the night before. Legolas hummed as he rode down the road to Rivendell trying to think of an excuse for Gollum escaping that wouldn't get him a telling off from Lord Elrond. The Lord of Rivendell would probably roast him for this. Suddenly he heard a clap of thunder, even though there wasn't a cloud in the sky. "Wahhhhhhh!" Felicity screamed. Legolas gulped and then yelped as the girl fell straight on top of him. He was knocked off his horse which galloped a safe distance away. He lay there trying to breath under the girls weight on his chest. "Um.nice to meet you?" Felicity mumbled.
