A quick explanation: during youth group we had to do a drama piece[based around a Christian couple who got a surprise visit from an old school friend who was agnostic. I wanted to turn ours into a musical kind of thing, so I wrote and spoke all of this, while my actors 'performed' to it. My youth group loved it, it's short but I hope you enjoy it

This is not meant to offend or anything, it's supposed to be funny… Just in case you don't quite get it

Gather round dear children, for a story told in song,

About dear Jan and Jeremy, but don't worry it won't take long.

They sat all quite and demure, whilst drinking a cup of tea,

When the evil Hansputin came, over unexpectedly

Hansputin, Hansputin the evil scientist guy

He shunned the church and its beliefs; he thought it all a lie

"Hello there my dear Jeremy, I hope my face you have not forgot

But I hear you're Christian now, and for that you must be shot"

"Oh no, dear Jan what should we do, he must be round the bend

I would beat him senseless if he were not my old dear friend"

"My dear Hansputin, surely you must believe in God a bit

So if you'll please let us explain; have a tea and have a sit"

And so Hansputin sat down with them, dear Jan and Jeremy

And so discussed Christianity, over a cup of tea

"By Jove, I get it, I see the light, I'm sorry for my infraction

Allow me membership to your church and please take no legal action"

"Yes of course" cried Jeremy "You're welcome in our church"

Said Jan "Why yes dear Hansputin, for nobody was hurt"

And happy ever after for their life, they all did remain

Through grace of God and help of church they all stayed slightly sane

And so ends this story, of song, drama and the lot

So please sit down, or have some tea, but please, do not get shot.
