Hello everyone! I'm so glad to see you all! Now, I already have up to chapter 4 written on paper and will continue to post. I find it easier to get it down on paper instead of staight typing when it comes to fanfiction. Keep on the lookout for me on Fictionpress because some of my original stuff will appear there too. As for now, read on!
Disclaimer: I own nothing but my OC. Soft Ink owns Momo. Go check her out sometime, she's a better writer than me!
Now, on with the show!
I wake to the sound of birds chirping. Another beautiful winer monring in Konaha. Standing up from my bed, I stumble into the kitchen and whip up some sensational scrambled eggs.
Scarfing them down, I go into Momo's room and kick the wooden bedpost.
"Breakfast."
At that word, my twig-like friend leaps out of bed and into the kitchen.
I laugh at her antics and plop down on the tan sofa in the living/kitchen.
We have a small apartment in the center of the village that over-looks the canal. Two bedroom, one bath, the only thing that seperates the kitchen from the lving room is an island with spice racks. We also have a balcony, and a glorious view of the forest beyond, one of the perks of living on top of a 80 story building.
Momo flomps on the couch next to me, a bowl of cheesy eggs in hand.
"Any new reports?" she asks.
"People in black cloaks, possible Akatsuki, have been roaming around lately. But otherwise, nothing but snow."
I finish my bowl and go to my room to get dressed. Looking over my wardrobe, I pull out a fishnet tee shirt with a tank top. The capris are a dark demin that end just after my knees, and my tank top a deep navy blue. I tie my headband around my throat and clip another safety pin to my black fingerless gloves. Counting them, I have 20 now. Yay!
I walk out of my room to see Momo in her doorway as well. Her light blue skinny jeans disappear into her thick black snow boots and disappear into her large orange sweater. Her headband is fastened around her slim waist, underneath her huge jacket.
I walk into the bathroom and run a brust through my waist length blonde hair. I braid it, but leave my shoulder length brades out and clasp two long black beads to them to keep the togther. Momo snatches the brush and brushes her brown shoulder length hair.
After brushing my teeth, I turn to Momo. "Ready to go to training?"
"No..." Momo sighs, putting away her tooth brush.
"Too bad!" I grin. Momo and I go out to the balcony. I'm an inventor of sorts, and after a few walks across town to the training grounds, I decided that walking isn't as fun as flying.
I've developed a zip line so we don't have to rush anywhere. Momo and I each step up onto the railing and grab the bar. We kick off the black bar and sail over Konaha.
It's peaceful, not scary, and it's funny watching everyone look up to see you in the air.
Oh no.
Kakashi just stepped in our landing zone.
"SENSEI!" Momo screams. Kakashi looks up just in time to take a shoe to the face.
"Yikes," I mumble. "Heh heh, you cool?" I ask, scratching the back of my head.
Kakashi looks at me, eyes big blue spirals.
"Yeah, you're okay!" I grin.
There ya have it! Chapter one to Captives! I know, I'm awesome. Hey, I updated all my other stuff and posted a bunch more new stuff, you should go to my profile and check it out. Also, a big shout out to Soft Ink, my best friend/sister (not in the family way)/partner in crime!
