A/N: I just felt like writing a fluffy little oneshot. It's really short and I like angst, so yeah.

Remus awoke with a start. He'd just had a horrible dream. Wiping the cold sweat from his brow, he turned to his side to find Sirius fast asleep. The Animagus looked adorable as he slept, curled up with his dark hair covering his eyes and his mouth partially opened. Of course, the years at Azkaban had taken a toll on him, but when he was asleep, Remus could see the face of the young man he'd fallen in love with years ago.
Remus smiled and pushed his lover's bangs from his face before softly nuzzling the man's neck as he wrapped himself in Sirius' arms. Sirius opened his eyes, blinking slightly as he remembered where he was. He smiled softly when he felt Remus' breath against his neck, but knew there was a reason the lycan was still awake.
"You okay Rem?" he asked softly. Remus nodded.
"I just had a bad dream, but I'm fine now." Sirius pulled the man closer and buried his face in Remus' honey-colored hair.
"It was another one of those dreams then?" Remus had been having a lot of dreams lately where Sirius was murdered or badly maimed by some Death Eater. Sometimes Sirius woke up to Remus sobbing or screaming in his sleep and he would shake Remus from the nightmare and take the man into his arms, kissing him and whispering to him softly to soothe his fears away.
Remus nodded in reply to Sirius' question, before whispering,
"I'm beginning to worry. What if it's some type of warning? It feels like something terrible is going to happen and after all these dreams …" he trailed off as he felt a tear roll down his cheek. Sirius gently wiped the tear away with his thumb and kissed Remus softly.
"I promise that nothing bad is going to happen, Rem. I won't let it. "Sirius stroked Remus' hair and held him close. It hurt to see his lover so anxious and vulnerable. Soon Remus fell back to sleep, but not before whispering,
"I love you Sirius. Don't you ever leave me again." Sirius kissed his forehead and replied,
"I love you too, and I promise, I won't leave your side."
