Welcome To Mythis
The Mythis Region. The biggest Region the Pokémon world! This grand Region is known as the birth place of myths. It holds legends beyond your wildest dreams. Khanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Altima and so forth are all Regions with myths and legends of their own. But with Mythis, trying to discover all the legends it holds could mean the death of you and your Pokémon. This. Region will be helping the young trainer Verde, son of the Altima Champion Midori and his wife Jade, take his skills as a trainer and hopefully surpass his father in time before his ancestor's cursed agreement consumes his father within the darkness corrupting his very being. Alright enough with the intro;this story starts with Verde and his mother Jade on an airplane on their way to Mythis to their new home in Nneoh village.
"Yaahhh." Verde yawns.
"Looks like somebody is tired. You alright?" said Jade.
"Yeah I guess it's from all the packing." Verde replies.
"Well try and get some rest we'll be there soon enough." said Jade.
"Alright." said Verde.
*"Professor Skoll! It's an emergency!" cries Verde.
"What is it what happened! Oh my...quick get him inside and I'll see what I can do for now but we need to get him to a Pokémon Center quickly." explains Prof. Skoll.
"Is he gonna be alright?" Verde asked damn near tears.
"I won't tell you anything I can't promise. With that said all I can tell you is to keep hope and have faith I will do everything I can to make sure he pulls through. Sorry but I'm also gonna have to ask you to stay here while I'm working on him. Don't want any distractions...(sighs) wish us luck." said Prof. Skoll.
Professor Skoll walks away carrying a green lizard Pokémon into a back room. Verde closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and manages a smile on his face. He then looks down at the black furred body and red furred head Pyrion at his feet, got down to his level, and laid his hand on it's head. Pyrion looked Verde deep in the eyes looking for asssurance that his savior will be saved.
"Don't worry man Treeko's a fighter. He'll definetely make it through this. And this, I more than believe, I know." said Verde.
Pyrion to manages a smile and shakes his head signaling that he believes as well.*
"Verde wake up the plane is decending. We are here." said Jade.
Verde wakes up and looks out the window to see a highly flourish city down below. There was plenty of greenery with buldings that looked as if they were merged with the forestry.
"(yawns) Well then, for a place with an airport this place has a lot of forestry." said Verde.
"It sure does, welcome to the evergreen Miracle City." said Jade.
"Wait we're still not in Nneoh?" asked Verde.
"Oh don't worry it's just a quick drive to the south and that's it." Jade explained.
"I'm just ready to get this plain." Verde complained.
"Ha! You and me both." Jade laughed.
The plane finally lands and they make their way out.
"Here Verde watch Zorua for a sec. I'm going to get the car." asked Jade.
"Sure go on ahead." said Verde.
His mom hands over a sleeping Zorua to Verde and makes her way across to a parking lot across the street. Verde begins to look at everything around him admiring all the plant life around him. Then he begins to hear yawning coming from his hands.
"Finally awake I see. You're like a lazy Purugly." Verde joked.
Zorua: Cheh cheh.
"Verde let's go!" Yelled Jade.
"On my way." answered Verde.
Verde enters the car and they are now officially on their way to Nneoh Village.
"Hey sweety are you alright? With that pensive look on your face something's on you mind." Jade asked.
"Oh sorry I was just thinking to myself." said Verde.
"About what?" asked Jade.
"Well, the reason we're moving here. I mean I don't have a problem with it, it's just it was so sudden and I know dad is the champion and all, but why isn't he here to? No one challenges the champion on the summer solstice. That's when Altima has Day of Awakening. No one battles on Day of Awakening, plus the plane ride is only two hours." Verde explains.
"Well don't you want to beat your father any time soon?" asked Jade.
"Well yeah but..." Verde managed to say before he was cut off.
"Don't worry so much honey, the reason for us moving here was so that you could become strong enough to beat your father in battle. The Mythis region is, after all, where our family is from and it's full of very strong trainers." Jade explains.
"And Altima is full of very strong gym leaders." Verde complains.
"Oh just trust me on this Verde." said Jade.
"It's not that. I trust what you are doing. I guess the real reason I'm so tense is that I'm so far away from my other Pokémon. The only one I have on me now is Pyrion. Everyone else is still with Prof. Skoll." Verde admits.
"Oh they'll be fine with the professor. Besides whenever you want them he'll happily send them to whatever Pokémon Center you're closes to. Of course since we're in a different region it'll take about a day, but you'll still have full access." explains Jade.
"I guess that puts my mind at ease a little." said Verde.
"Besides wouldn't you like to catch Pokémon in this region?" asked Jade.
"Of course I would, but it's not like I have my own Pokémon care place here like I do back in Altima with the Professor." Verde explains.
"Are you sure you're fine with this whole moving to another region thing?" asked Jade.
"Don't let my pestering fool you I am completely fine with this." Verde admits.
"Okay then, so what's eating you up inside so much?" Jade asked a little concerned.
"What are you talking about?" asked Verde.
"Oh come on I'm your mother! I think I'd know when something's up with my son." said Jade sarcastically.
"Hhh. I'll never be able to surpass that amount of women's intuition. Fine, you win. I was thinking of why dad has been acting so weird and distant from me lately." Verde admits.
"(Damn it! I was hoping to get him away in time before he starts to notice anything. Well he's young but he's as smart as his father was at that age.) Oh he's just giving you space knowing that you'll be starting your journey soon to face him one day." Jade lied.
"I suppose so. (There's something you're not telling me.)" said while thinking to himself.
"(And here I thought this was going to be easy. I should've known better than to underestimate him. His father's blood runs deep.) Hey we're here! Nneoh Village." Jade said excitedly hoping the arrival to their knew home would get his mind off his father.
"Whoa you weren't kidding about going south. You can see the ocean." Verde admired.
"Yep beautiful view right? I know how close you like to be near nature so I thought why not this place." Jade explained.
"Now this is what I'm talking about! Grass, trees, flowers, and the ocean. This place is amazing. What do you think Zorua?" Verde asked.
Zorua: Che che che!
"You my friend are absolutely right. Pyrion how's about you come on out and stretch your legs a bit." Verde agreed.
Verde grabs the Pokéball from the sash he wears across his torso and pulled it off. He then pressed the white button in the center expanding the ember and metallic colored Pokéball. He held the now enlarged Pokéball out the opposite direction of himself. Then the Pokéball opened releasing a black beam of light that then gave way revealing a small Pokémon about 1ft and 8 in tall. Its head is shaped like a lion's cub. Red head black body and his tail reaches just above his back.
Pyrion: (Yawning and stretching) Pyyyri. Pyrion!
"Check it out Pyrion. Our new humble abode." Verde explained.
"Wow! That was coolest thing ever! How does your Pokéball make that black beam thing when you let out your Pokémon?" Unknown voice said walking up.
"Uhh, I don't know I leave that type of stuff to Prof. Skoll. And you are?" Verde asked the unknown character.
"Hmm, now where have I heard that name before hmmm. Oh sorry my apologies. My names Tobi and this is my partner Joon." Tobi said remembering that he didn't introduce himself.
Tobi reached for the necklace holding a regular Pokéball and released what looked like a green T-Rex that only came up to waist level.
Jungrowl: Jungrowl?
Jungrowl notices Pyrion thinking he was summoned to battle and his intimidation ability started to kick in.
Jungrowl: Jungrowl!
Jungrowl begins to growl as the leaflets on its back began to rise. Pyrion quickly reacts by allowing flames to burst from the back of his paws and taking a ninja like stance with his paws together with two fingers facing up to the sky near his chin with serious piercing eyes. Both of them ready to go at it. Verde watches and waits same as Pyrion. Tobi places his hand on Jungrowl's head and pets it.
"Hang on to that thought Joon but that's not what we're here for." said Tobi.
"Ahh, I was actually hoping that you guys were actually going to battle." Jade complained.
Zorua: Che che.
"Zorua is right Pyrion, at ease bud. So what are you here for?" Verde asked.
Tobi no longer paying attention to Verde seems to be paying attention to someone else. Verde turns around to see what he's looking at to find out that he's looking at his mom!
"Yo what are you looking at!?" yelled Verde.
"(Oh he is definitely his father's son)." Jade thought to herself.
Tobi snaps out of it hearing Verde's loud complaint.
"Uhh, nothing. Anyway, what were you saying again?" asked Tobi.
"What are you here for!?" Verde asked again irritated.
"Dude your sister is hot!" Tobi exclaimed.
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Verde yelled even moree irritated.
"What? Look at her she's gorgeous!" Tobi exclaimed.
"Hey I don't really see the problem here. They're just a couple of compliments." said Jade obviously enjoying the compliments.
"Mom don't encourage him!" yelled Verde.
"Ohhh so she's your mother." Tobi realized.
"And you stop talking to me like you know me!" yelled Verde.
"Fine. What is your name?" Tobi asked nonchalantly.
"My name is Verde." said Verde.
"And now I have your acquaintance." said Tobi.
"Uh alright?" Verde said a little confused.
"Well it's obvious that you're new here so where are you from?" asked Tobi.
"I'm from Jared town in the Altima Region." Verde explained.
"Altima! So that's where I remember that name. Prof. Skoll, I seen him in a magazine not to long ago! So he's the one who made that Pokéball. Wow that's very interesting." Tobi exclaimed.
"(Well would you look at that. He just took his first steps in this village and is already making a friend whether he sees it that way or not. I hope he makes an attempt to make more it'll help him stop focusing on his father so much)." Jade thought to herself.
"Doesn't Altima hold the title of having the strongest champion ever in all the regions?" Tobi asdked interested.
"Yeah. And before you ask, yes he's my father." Verde answered.
"Ahh. So he is your father? I guess that makes since he has ecstatic taste in women. So I'll take a wild guess here and say that you have some experience in battling." Tobi joked.
"I don't answer retorical questions." said Verde.
"You being a champion's son means you must be a challenge." said Tobi.
"Don't compare my skills to that of my father's. I am my own self with my own strength. Champion father or not." Verde complained.
"Alright, alright seems like I struck a nerve there. I apologize. But what do you say we have a little battle?" Tobi asked.
"Uh quick warning. Pyrion is not a starter Pokémon." Verde warned.
"What do you mean?" aassddked Tobi.
"He's in his first evolution stage but he's not a starter. I caught him in Altima as a wild one so your kinda at a disadvantage here. Plus he's a fire type." Vered explained.
"He can be as much fire as he appears dark. Joon and I don't fear mere type disadvantages isn't that right Joon? Joon?" Tobi bragged.
Tobi and Verde turn to see that their Pokémon are enjoying a friendly game of tag.
"They were at each other's throats not too long ago." said Verde.
"Hey you guys want to battle?" asked Tobi.
Pyrion and Jungrowl's stopped dead in their tracks and looked at their trainers with anticipation.
"Huh, I guess this was inevitable from the start. So be it, Pyrion ready." Verde ordered.
Pyrion takes the exact same pose as before with the only difference being that he didn't burst flames out his paws.
"Alright Joon let's show them what we got!" Tobi cheered.
Jungrowl to returns to his former state looking as vicious as the first time. Pyrion stands there not even appearing as if he's breathing because he's standing so still patiently waiting.
"It seems that intimidate doesn't work on him." Tobi figured.
"Yeah it's kinda hard to fear something that can't even touch you." Verde explained.
"Well then we'll have to see about that. Joon use tackle." Tobi ordered making the first move.
Jungrowl: JUUUNNGROO!
Jungrowl viciously charges towards Pyrion with no signs of holding back.
"I feel sorry for the first Pokémon you try and catch. You can seriously injure a Pokémon going all out like that. But you can also hurt yourself. Pyrion dodge it!" Verde ordered.
Pyrion waiting for Jungrowl to get closer waits until Jungrowl's snout is exactly 3cm away and quickly sidesteps to the right causing Jungrowl to pass right by him.
"Hmph, saw that coming." Tobi bragged.
Jungrowl ran passed Pyrion but was only 4 steps away when he slong his tail to the right turning his body left using his right foot as leverage to stop and go in for another attack. Pyrio, who has just got his balance, in those few dire seconds lightly jumped up placing his foot on Jungrowl's snout allowing him to stylishly evade the attack pulling off 3 front flips before landing on his feet without an ounce of stumbling. Without a chance to turn around Pyrion is oblivious to Jungrowl coming in for another attack. So you would think. Pyrion did a backwards summersault rolling safely under Jungrowl's body through his feet avoiding his swinging tail.
"If you keep attacking my Pyrion with all that power I'll be forced to take you out before you harm him in any way." Verde warned.
"It'll be nice to know you won't be holding back then." Tobi exclaimed.
"Alright but you brought this on yourself." said Verde.
Zorua:Che che che.
"That's right Zorua it's time to stop messing around and end this." Verde agreed.
Zorua:Che che che.
Zorua hops off Verde's shoulder ands walks over to Jade and jumps into her arms as she catches her. Verde puts his pockets with an expression on his face showing how serious he is.
"Pyrion let's end this." said Verde.
Pyrion: Pyri!
"Joon don't let up use headbut while he's not paying attention." Tobi ordered.
Jungrowl, in same predicament as before, with Pyrion's back facing towards him charges with everything he's got. At point blank range Tobi smiles excitedly thinking he was going to get a hit off. But it quickly changes when Pyrion disappears from there eyes.
"What the... Where did he?" ssaid a a hell of confused Tobi.
"You were the one not paying attention. I told you. You won't be able to hit him, not on my watch. Pyrion's speed, agility and evasive reflexes are first rate. One of the best combinations to have. And not only that he also has power to back it up. Pyrion... Fire Style." Verde ordered.
Pyrion's hands quickly started creating hand signs and came to a halt.
Pyrion: Pyyy... Ron!
Pyrion spits out a tiny ember on his paws and are now a full on blaze!
"Ember." Verde ordered.
Pyrion used ember but aimed at his hands that are now blazing out of control. The flames have ignited his head and now he appears to have mane of fire on his head.
Pyrion: Pyriii!
He aims his hands at the confused Jungrowl and unleashes a stream of flames towards him engulfing his body in flames. When the flames subsided Jungrowl was left fainted on the ground.
"You lose. Good job Pyrion." Verde praised.
Pyrion: Pyri.
"(Not half bad. He's almost as good as I was.) Hey Tobi right? You might want to return your Jungrowl to its Pokéball and here take this." said Jade.
Jade threw Tobi a vile of a greenish-blue liquid. Tobi catches it and returns Jungrowl back into his Pokéball.
"What is this stuff?" asked Tobi.
"Rawst oil. If the next time you let out your Jungrowl and he seems hurt, it means he's sustained a burn. The Rawst oil will fix him up nicely." Verde explained.
"Oh yeah I know what this stuff is. I also know it's expensive." said Tobi.
"Don't worry about it we have plenty more where that came from." said Jade.
"Well thanks this will surely come in handy." said Tobi.
"You know you never answered my question from before. What are you here for?" Verde asked once again.
"Oh yeah well, I saw some unfamiliar faces so I thought why not greet these people to Nneoh." Tobi admited.
"And then everything took a wrong turn when you let out your Jungrowl." said Verde.
"Oh give him some credit. He can control himself better than you think. Not to mention that Joon and Pyrion were playing tag not long ago. That battle was way more than I expected." admited Tobi.
"Well as you now know I'm Verde and this is my MOM not my SISTER." Verde corrected.
"Hey sweetie the name's Jade." Jade introduced herself.
"And it is definitely my pleasure meeting your acquaintance." Tobi doted.
"Would you just stop it. Just stop. Alright this is getting weird." said Verde.
"Well if you two excuse me it's about time to start dinner. Come on Pyrion let's get something in that belly of yours. Nothing like a good meal after a battle like that." said Jade.
Pyrion: Pyri!
Pyrion leaves the two trainers and goes with Verde's mom in the house.
"Well with introductions out of the way. Would like a tour of the village?" Tobi offered.
"Well dinner won't be ready till another half hour. Sure I got the time." Verde accepted.
"Alright then! Dude you're gonna love this place." exclaimed Tobi.
Tobi and Verde walk off into rest of the village, Tobi showing Verde the best sublime places Nneoh has to offer. This seems to be the start to be the start of a good friendship.
