Her hands slowly travels down her petite lover's body, gently tracing the flawless skin flowing smoothly under her fingers, like the careful, slow stream of a river with no rocks, only the finest grains of sand laying unmoved at the bottom, so still you would almost believe it was synchronised with the water, a silent understanding of peace. It is the softness that is so incredible she can't understand it, the softness that has suppressed every urge she has ever had to dig her nails in, to touch too hard, to destroy the perfection she so badly wants to preserve. She knows that the body she is holding, the very one that seems so frail and perfect has been through a lot more than she herself could ever live through, but yet she can't keep herself from treating her so carefully. She wants to make no mark on perfection, regardless of how quickly it would be fixed.
She throws her head back, stroking her lover's hair, taking care not to pull it, not to lose a strand. It is too…magnificent. So terribly beautiful and yet somehow frightening to know that this creature of unfathomable beauty could snap her neck in a second. When she looks into her eyes though, she knows it would never happen. Somehow, through some incredible twist of fate…she loves her just as much.
She turns over to touch her lover's cheek, wanting to revel in the very essence of her existence. Her lover opens her eyes and gives her a beautiful smile, scooting a little closer. She draws her in as she approaches, welcoming her presence the best way she knows.
"Rommie…" she whispers.
