Author's note: A simple little friendship-story with Miley and Lilly as adults.
Very cute!
Miley and Lilly are 37 years old and today they look at old photos from when they were teenagers and even from when they were younger than that.
"Wow! It's baby Lilly!" says Miley as she find a photo of Lilly at age 5.
"I was so cute!" says Lilly as she grab the photo from Miley's hand.
"You're still beautiful, Lils." says Miley.
"Awww! Thanks, Miley." says Lilly.
Lilly finds a photo of a 5 year old Miley.
"Look at this! We've got us a little cutie Miley!" says Lilly.
"Sweet niblets! I look like a freak." says Miley.
"No, you look cute." says Lilly.
"Well...I don't want anyone to see that picture of me, Lillian. So, please put it back in the box." says Miley.
Lilly put the photo back into the big box full of photos.
Miley finds a photo from when she and Lilly where 11 years old.
"Awww! Our first sleepover together. We had only known each other for a month at most. Ya look so cute in those pink jammies, Lilly." says Miley.
"An early Miley / Lilly - moment! Very very cute!" says Lilly.
"Yup...and here we are. Two 37 year old chicks. Still best friends and still lookin' as hot as ever." says Miley. "It's so cool that we're still friends after all these years."
"Yeah! Who would have thought that on the day when we first met outside school, eh?" says Lilly.
"Two kids who almost couldn't be more different from each other and they still became friends." says Miley.
"It's almost too awesome to believe..." says Lilly with a smile.
"It is real though. Very real...!" says Miley.
"Do you think we'll still be best friends when were like 60 too?" says Lilly.
"I hope so, Lillian! It would be a big honor to be your friend for the rest of my life." says Miley.
"I agree! A life without you as my friend would be empty. How did I ever make it before I met you, Miley?" says Lilly.
"Only the good Lord in heaven knows that, Lils. I've always thought that we were supposed to become best friends. Somehow I feel that it was written in the stars years before we were born." says Miley.
"Miley, you're the best friend I could ever ask for." says Lilly. "You're smart, beautiful, friendly, strong and you have such a big heart."
"There's always a place for you in my heart, Lilly Truscott." says Miley with a sweet friendly voice.
"Awww, thanks!" says Lilly.
"What's Oliver doin' today, Lils?" says Miley.
"He's with some guys from work. They are the Lakers-game or something..." says Lilly.
"John took Jennie on road-trip, they should be back early tomorrow." says Miley.
"You've always been soo cute, Miley." says Lilly.
"I could say the same about you, Lilly." says Miley. "I mean, how could anyone not like such a sweet blonde cutie like you?"
"Miley, you're so funny!" says Lilly.
"I know!" says Miley with a smirk.
"Miley, you're an awesome woman! You know that, right?" says Lilly.
"Of course I know that ya silly lil' Lilly! I'm no dumbass, ya know...!" says Miley with a smile.
"True! You're not a dumbass, Miley. You're a really good friend." says Lilly.
"Thanks, Lils!" says Miley.
