(A/N) This is Alice's POV. It's 'Unknown' from her perspective. Enjoy!
Tic toc. Tic toc.
The whole scene is complete, except for him.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
Where is he?
Tic toc. Tic toc.
Not just any lightning flashes through the sky. It's the lightning.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
And he's still not here.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
How long have I been waiting? Did I journey here in vain?
Tic toc. Tic toc.
Finally, finally, he walks in. All pale skin, dark red eyes and golden hair.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
And my vision is complete.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
I'm infront of him in an instant, not patient enough to wait for him to come to me.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
I told him how long I'd been waiting, as if I knew him already.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
He ducked his head. "I'm sorry Ma'am." He apologized.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
He was a gentleman. I could tell.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
I held out my hand, hoping he would take it.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
And he did.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
Not only did he hold it, he clung to it. Clung to it as if he needed it.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
I knew we would always be like this - dependant.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
Because I needed him now. I couldn't make the journey alone.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
And he needed me. To show him where he was going.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
We needed each other to be complete. What good was eternity, when your only half of a whole?
Tic toc. Tic toc.
The clock still ticked. The clock still tocked. But I didn't care. It didn't mean anything. Why keep track of something when it is unlimited?
Tic toc. Tic toc.
We walked together, hand in hand. Leaving the past. Living the present. Loving the future.
Tic toc. Tic toc.
