Disclaimer: I don't own any characters mentioned.

A/N: This is my first fan fiction; sorry if it sucks.

Background info: I change things (i.e. my hair color) so in my Fic, Eric and Asher aren't…you know. Instead they're best friends.

"Jenny, why are you dating Asher? He's not right for you!" Eric yells.

"Well then who is, Eric? Cause to me he seems perfect!" I exclaim.

"I'm perfect for you, Jenny; I think I might be in love with you. I was hoping you felt the same way about me!" he admits, and I feel my heart lurch.

"Eric, I have to go. I have a lunch date with Asher," I say, trying to get away from the subject of love.

I run as fast as I can away from him, leaving him behind, and leaving my heart right with him.

Luckily, the Met isn't to far from school.

From a mile away, I can see a pile of hot dogs, piling over a sandy head that is all too familiar.

As I approach the building curiously, a banner falls from the top of the glistening steps.

'Happy 1 month anniversary, Jenny!' I read off it.

Shit! This wasn't supposed to happen! Asher wasn't supposed to fall for me!

Truthfully, I'm just using Asher to finally earn my rightful spot as, well, Blair.

Blair Waldorf: ex-girlfriend of Nate Archibald and current BFF of Serena van der Woodsen. Oh, and you can't forget the previous 'friendship' she had with Chuck Bass…

Needless to say, Blair rules.

The list goes on, and she already has years over me!

I need to pull a stunt like dating one of the richest boys in New York to win.

And trust me, by the end of the year, people will be saying, 'Who?' after Blair's name, if, sorry, when I get my way.

'Ouch… if you think trying to kill yourself hurts, E, getting rejecting by the girl you (in your words) love must hurt more.

Watch out little J, a guy like E has the whole Upper East Side on his side, including your prince Charming.'

Sigh. Of course Gossip Girl already has it online.

This could be a major setback, especially if Asher reads it.

Ugh…. Another IM from Eric.

'Jenny, Asher hates me. Please don't tell me you feel the same,' I read.

'Look, Eric, I have my reasons for staying with Asher. So, please, go stalk someone else!' I write, thinking maybe I was a little hostile.

After that, he doesn't reply.

Well, at least I have the bitch part of Blair down to a T.

RIING! RING RING!

The phone starts shrieking and I reach across the table to get it.

"Hello?" I ask, and then wait for a reply.

"Jenny! What could Asher possibly have that Eric doesn't?" screams the other side.

"Serena?" I guess, still a little deaf.

"Yes! Now tell me, Jenny?" She yells.

"Can I trust you?" I ask timidly.

"Of course," she says, with a little less edge than before.

"I need Asher. But not in the way you would think," I start, wondering where this conversation will go.

"In what way, then?" She asks, sounding genuinely confused.

"Well, I know she's your best friend, but Blair's been running the Upper East Side far too long. I think it's time for a change of pace. I just think that a certain blonde from Brooklyn would suffice," I say, smirking.

And then the line went dead.

'Ooh, I guess S is taking a page from BF B's book.

The manipulative Upper East Side hottie was kind enough relay a little convo she had with a certain blonde from Brooklyn.

From the looks of it, our precious princess-in-training is using more than Daddy's credit card…'

A/N: Please give me feedback; I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
