The Lord of the Mines

And it begins again.

This will not be a Crossover, but I will be incorporating a few other universes as I go.

I am inspired as I play, but this is not a diary of any one world. I will also be changing a few things about the game. Think of it as me playing with mods. One thing I will be adding is vampires, not because I like them, but because hostile mobs burst into flames in sunlight.

Day 335.

Has it truly been almost A year? After my last journey I returned to my old life. I have towers of gold, chests full of diamonds, even my very own castle in the sky. Yet I still feel as if I'm missing something.

I can't be the last person, can I? I don't remember the last time I had company. Ever since those monsters arrived, I haven't seen another living soul. I think it's time to go searching. I WILL NOT enter Hell again, so I will need to cover great distances to have any chance of finding anyone. I have traveled far and wide in my time here and never once seen a sign I'm not alone. What way should I go now?

West, across the great ocean. I've never been out very far, just out to fish. Maybe I'll find a new land on the other side.

Adventure Two, Day One.

As before, I started a new journal for this trip. My old journal sits on my workbench, maybe someday it will be found, my story told.

I've filled my boat with everything I intend to bring. I even remembered torches this time! I'm bringing very little, just what I will need to start a new life. The bulk of my gear is blocks of iron. It's useful and I don't want to spend my time mining when I can be searching for signs of life. I bring very little gold, just a handful of bars, and only my largest diamonds. The only wood I bring is built into my boat. My home is a dense forest, I hope my destination is the same. I don't intend to hide my vast treasure this time, something tells me I won't be back for it.

I remember reading a story as a child about someone who went on a great adventure. Once he returned home and finished writing his tale, he took a ship across The Great Western Sea. I find it fitting I'm about to do the same.

As I finish packing, my thoughts turn to what I'm about to leave behind. Over the years I've called this place home, I built a vast network of houses and tunnels. Some as far as a three day hike. I've even built a rail line to connect many of them. This masterpiece built and no body to see it. I have time for one more look around my vast and lonely kingdom. I leave with the tide.

This is the start of my sequel while I wait for 1.8 to be released.

I don't know there I'm going with this yet, and I won't get far until NPC's are added with 1.9
