A/N: So for those of you who don't know, I'm a huge Buffy fan (two of my fav characters are Spike and Tara, just saying). I was bored, so I decided to do a (very) short drabble on Sweet at the end of Once More With Feeling. (Is it weird that I know almost all the lyrics to almost all of the songs?) Anyway, here it is.

Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or any of the characters.

Sweet

Sweet surveyed the room thoughtfully. The emotions running high in the large room were delicious, intoxicating. The betrayal, the hurt, the rage...the guilt. Each tasted differently—some were sweeter than others—but blended together produced a delightful mix of passionate taste. Was he glad or what that he'd been summoned (especially by such a beauty as the young girl sitting next to him). Having the Slayer as either a bride or potential sister-in-law was just an extra special bonus. But Slayers are fighters, and I don't want a fighting wife, I want a submissive one, he thought, and decided to instead take pleasure in watching the Slayer burn.

She was a pretty thing, all blond hair and athletic body, with fiery eyes. Eyes that already burned on their own as she found to control herself, to stop singing. But no, that would not do. Sweet's magic was too powerful, so the Slayer went on singing about how her friends had pulled her out of heaven.

Ah, poor thing. That sucks for her, but makes a flavorful meal for me, Sugar thought dismissively.

She was beginning to burn, and he could just taste his excitement when that blond vamp had to go save her. Oh, yes, Sweet remembered this vamp, especially the song he'd sung. A very unusual case—a vampire in love with the Slayer. And from what he'd put together, he wasn't the first vampire this had happened to!

The vamp, Spike was his name, finished the song for the Slayer, and it was silent.

Sweet tried to excuse himself surreptitiously with the girl, but the Slayer wasn't having any of it. So much for sibling hatred.

He pointed out the pendant, and the girl freaked. Reading her in a second, he put it all together. Total klepto with sister issues who stole from her friends. Yeah, that fit her profile.

Oh lord. If the girl didn't summon him, who did? His fears were confirmed as the average man stepped forward, taking the blame. He smelled of guilt, sadness, and determination. The first two weren't bad, but he was a man, and an average one at that.

Sweet bowed out of this group—singing his song, then disappearing in a flash of lights. It was a shame to leave a room so full of conflicting emotions as that one had been, but there were other places he wanted to go, to see. There was more mayhem to cause...

A/N: I hope you liked my short drabble...the things I do when bored! =D If you have a second, please review and tell me your thoughts (even if it is just 'good drabble'!) Oh, and if any of you are Glee fans, check out my other story, Blaine's Version of Events, or the other drabble I've done, Pure Wevid. Thanks a lot!
