I like it here in CatnipClan. But what about my past? I don't prefer to remember it, but I'll tell you my story.
A very long time ago, I was born. I don't remember my parents, I guess it wasn't important enough. What I do remember is they one day, my housefolk just left me behind. They never came back, and I didn't stay long. I left my old home to become a rouge. Though I may have had a collar around my neck, I was not a kittypet. Not anymore.
That orange collar did give me some advantages. The other rouges and loners were a bit kinder to me. Sometimes they would give me food, but most of the time I was all alone.
One day I found myself in twolegplace. This female twoleg kit was calling me over. So what did I do? I decided that the twoleg kit didn't know any better, and would maybe have some food. So I crossed the thunderpath and stayed around the place for a while, and decided to be friendly.
It worked out in the end, because I got a nice home with kind, new housefolk. And even better, the same female twoleg kit was part of my new housefolk. Plus, they also had another cat named Jewel. Now, Jewel and I at first never got along. But we had our moments of peace.
We became best friends, me and that twoleg kit. I would sit in her lap while she would work on who knows what. Stories, maybe. She would always tell me lots of stories. She especially enjoyed telling me stories about these wild cats who lived in the forest. I always wondered if they were true. Some nights I would wonder if StarClan was even real.
Well, who knew that years later, two new cats joined us in the peaceful life in twolegplace. They were Leopard and Foxpaw, two former clan cats who left seeking peace. It turned out that the stories were true after all. They told me and Jewel all about clan life. We even started our own clan. I was a great warrior, since I had some experence in hunting already. Soon more cats joined our clan. Jewel even became a medicine cat. But I chose the path of a warrior.
It paid off. One day, after the death of Angelfur, I became the deputy of the clan. That meant when Leopardstar died...I would become leader. But I hope I don't have to be leader for a long time.
