A New Day
Parvati draws herself up slowly, blinking sunlight from her eyes. Her mind and body are loose and languid, lazy in the knowledge that she doesn't technically have to get up today. Nevertheless, a flush of pure and simple affection floods through her upon feeling Lavender shift beside her.
The other woman emerges from the covers with a swish, her hair in a state of passionate disarray she'd scream at.
Hoping to distract her from looking in any mirrors and "fixing" it, Parvati leans over and trails soft kisses against the faint pink scars on her neck. It's a new day.
