A young girl was petting her cat.
She was eight years old with red hair, black eyes, Thee black dots over each eyes, pale skin and dressed in a black dress, red and yellow stockings and black shoes. She was smileing.
A knock on the door was herd. A fat raven dressed in some old fashion clothing opened it.
It was a very tall doctor. You can't even see his head that he was so tall.
"I need to see Ruby Gloom for a few DNA testing," He said.
The girl listened in. She was holding a black cat with a red color with a golden key on it.
"DNA testing?" The raven asked, "but Ruby's too young-"
"It doesn't matter," The doctor said, "she may have a surivor in her family."
The girl(now know as Ruby) blinked.
"I thoughed everyone in mine family died a long time ago..." She whispered.
The doctor looked at Ruby.
"I'll come back in a few hours," He said.
He left, saying, "You'll have until then."
It was only an hour before Ruby's DNA testing. She and her cat were watching the news. On it was a man mysterious killed. Noone knowed how he died. His blood was drained on his body. The only thing they caught of either a witness or the killer was its silouette.
'Who would do such a thing?' The cat guestured.(an: the cat can't talk, so he guesters a lot)
"He may have a good reason for it..." Ruby said to herself.
The cat rolled its eyes. Ruby petted it.
"Your're always so worried, Doom." She told the cat.
Then, the door opened. Ruby looked a bit frightened.
The tall doctor picked Ruby up.
"We should get going now." He said.
He put Ruby and Doom Kitty in the car and drove off.
It was a few very longs hours of testing. The doctor was busy with the resluts. Poe(an: the name of the raven) was inside the same room with the doctor. Ruby was busy reading 'The Dreaming'. Doom Kitty kept thinking about what She and Ruby had saw on the news. She wondered if that have a connection with this.
She looked at Ruby. Her arm was in a cast. Doom then herd something from the door.
"It can't be true."
Doom Kitty put her ear closed to the door and listened in.
"Mine machines aren't brockened."
"But there's must be mistake."
"There isn't."
"RUBY'LL GET HERSELF KILLED!!!!!!!!!!!"
The doctor sighed.
"I didn't chosed her family. And she must stayed with her remainning family, no matter how dangerous he may be."
The two opened the door a bit. Doom Kitty ran back to Ruby's side. The doctor looked at Ruby seriously.
"It seemed that you have a lost brother that was seperated by you at birth." The doctor said.
Poe's eyes were all watery. Ruby looked at him, ocurardedly.
"Here's his adress," The doctor said, handing her a tiny slip of paper.
Ruby looked at it.
"Pack your things," The doctor told her.
Poe wept like one might do at a love one's furnail.
Doom Kitty looked at the slip of paper, scared. Ruby had a tiny smile.
"How bad could he be?" She asked herself.
A mand was conored on a wall. He looked scared. A dagger was pointed at his troat. The only thing we can see of the person was his eyes, witch were black. The figure smirked.
"Say goodnight," He sneered.
