Sasori: Oww… what did ya do that for?!
Chapter 1
Sakura sighed as she woke up early at dawn and began looking for Kari, a ginger cat which she kept. Sakura found Kari at the window and smiled. She dreamily looked outside and began thinking about the stories her father used to tell her.
Unfortunately, her parents didn't live very long. When Sakura was only five, her mother died because of a heart attack. So, Sakura's father remarried a widow who has two female kids of her own. But after six months, Sakura's father died because of an accident. After the death of her parents, Sakura spent the rest of her life working from dawn till dusk. To make her life much more complicated, her cruel stepmother gave her lots of chores to do while Ino and Tenten, her two stepsisters, tries to mess things up for her.
Remembering the things that took place before, Sakura let those memories passed by. Instead, she began thinking of her fairytale dream; she's wearing a fine kimono, then, a handsome prince swept her in the middle of the room and began to dance, after that, the prince will ask her in the hand of marriage and everything will live happily ever after.
"Sakura!" Ino's voice shrieked across the mansion, which cause Sakura and Kari to jump. "Where is my tea?!"
Sakura sighed and turned to Kari, "You know what, my life sucks!"
She made her way down the kitchen and whipped up some breakfast and tea for her stepmother, Ino and Tenten. While the tea was boiling, Sakura went to the courtyard and fed the chickens and Nagi, their horse.
"Sakura!!" Ino's and Tenten's voice shrieked as Sakura poured the tea in three cups.
"Coming, coming." Sakura muttered under her breath as she placed the breakfast and tea in three trays.
But before she left, she saw the mice which they usually helped her in her chores. She smiled and gave them a huge chunk of cheese.
"Sakura!!"
"Hags from hell." Sakura muttered as she made her way to their rooms.
Me: That's it for chapter 1! And sorry if it's too short.
Sasori: That's it? Can't you do more than that?
Me: Shut up, Puppet Boy! *hits Sasori with a baseball bat*
Sasori: Oww… that's the second time you hit me!
Me: Hehe, don't forget to review!
Sasori: Yeah, yeah, like she said.
