It was the early hours of the morning, Sanji the chef of the Straw Hat Pirates had awoken for the day and was heading for the kitchen. He paused at the door, frowning deep as he saw it was ajar. He could hear talking coming from within.
"...you have always been with me," A familiar voice spoke, yet there was something different about it.
'Luffy? No no...that captain would not talk so seriously.' Sanji thought as he leaned forward and listened, but was a lot like his captain's voice. But it was the voice of a man speaking with his lover. 'Who...?' Sanji's widen eyes.
"... also since this whole... adventure began," Luffy went on the say, making Sanji place his ear right next to the gap, "...you know I always wanted to protect you since the day you became mine. And I still want to, please not worry, I still have the same love for you since we first came together..."
A loud sigh was heard which was followed silence. Sanji leaned closer to the door, trying to hear if anyone else was speaking.
"...also..." Luffy carried on with a sad almost broken voice now, "...the truth is...I never want to part from you, yes I know that we must one day...but I think that day has come quicker than I first thought..."
Silence. Sanji gritted his teeth as he leaned more, now pushing into the door slightly,
"...its just Sanji..." Sanji's breathe caught in his throat, questions buzzed around in his mind, "...when Sanji finds out about this...I'm dead... so dead..." Luffy's voice seemed to be louder as he tried to explain, "...it was just last night, ... so good...I mean it was so good..I could not stop myself...will you forgive me.. forgive me for leaving you so soon, my beloved-"
The door flew open and slammed against the wall. Sanji stood there; his eyes going widen at what lay beyond the door. His mouth opened and closed as he looked carefully around the room. Sanji narrowed his eyes to his captain who was sitting in the middle of the long dining table, gazing at him with worried eyes knowing what was about to happen.
"...sorry..." Luffy said but it was clear to Sanji that the rubberman was not talking to him, instead he held in his hands and was speaking tenderly to the old wore straw hat. The blonde stalked forward enraged,"...looks like this is the end of me...maybe we'll meet again, in my next life..."
"LUFFY!" Sanji roared as he ran towards, planning to give the captain the beating of his life for eating half of their food stores; the remains of the food was everywhere. As he began his powerful kick, he could not help but think, 'He was talking to the darn hat! I thought it was Robin-cwan or Nami-swan! Give me a heart attack like that you!'
