Chapter 1: Here Without You- The Death of Kieko

"Kimico Genki Urameshi, you get your ass out of bed right this instant! Just because you make good grades does not mean you can skip school whenever you please!" Kieko Yelled, swinging the door open to her teenage daughter's room.
"Relax, I've been awake," "Kimi said, sitting up and throwing the covers off, "See I'm already I'm already in my uniform and everything.
"... Why didn't you say anything before?!" Her mother demanded, annoyed that she had let her keep going like that.
"Because, I needed a good laugh!" She exclaimed, throwing her head back in laughter. 'Like father like daughter.' She thought to herself as her eyes began to soften. "I made breakfast, come eat," She said and kissed her daughter one last time on the forehead.

That was the last time I saw my mother alive. When I got home, she was already dead, bleeding in my father's arms.

... Her blood everywhere...
A tear slid down my face.
Her funeral was nice, I guess. But it didn't matter, She wasn't there. And she never would be again. I clenched my fists in anger until my palms bled. Tears were pouring from my eyes now. It wasn't because of my bloody palms, I barely felt that, but because of the pain aching in my chest making my whole body quiver.
Suddenly I felt my father's gentle hand on my shoulder, distracting me momentarily from my inner turmoil. I looked up at my father's hardened face. Deep in his eyes I could could see the pain that threatened to destroy his heart. I looked back down, I couldn't bare to feel his pain as well.
"It's going to rain, We should be getting back home now."
"I want to stay a little bit longer, you go ahead."
"Be home before dark," He said after a moment. I listened to his footsteps get father away.

Shortly After he left it began to pour down rain. I just stood there for what felt like hours. My sadness started to subside, and in it's place a burning rage started to grow.
I cried out in angst, my spirit energy started to flare around me, destroying some of the ground under me. I lost it then, lashing out on a near by oak tree, until my fists were bloody and the tree was reduced to a misshapen stump.
I will get revenge for my mother. I may never find the demon that took my mother away from me, but I will get revenge. On every twisted being I can get my hands on. I will make sure that no one else would have to suffer as I have.
