"Oh," said Mike. "Why only for one day?"
"Gina said "I don't even know. Her social worker should be coming."
"Right," said Mike. "I hope we give her a warm welcome." They were talking about a new resident coming to stay over at Elm Tree for one night.
"I always get scared everytime there's someone new," said Carmen. "I don't know if they're nice."
"Exactly right," said Elektra. "BNut I'm not that fussed."
There was a knock on the door. Mike opened it and saw a social worker and a boy. Mike looked confused.
"This is Cassidy," said the male social worker.
"Oh..." said Mike. "I thought... never mind."
"You thought I was a girl?" said the boy. "Idiot."
Mike was shocked but didn't say anything. The social worker left and Mike took Cassidy into the main room. "Uh-hum. Well, this is the new BOY, Cassidy."
There were surprised glances around. "Oh, so I guess the new girl turned into a boy, right?"
"Shut up you blue-haired tyke," said the boy.
Elektra gasped. "Wow, the boy-girl can talk sh.."
"Silence Elektra," said Mike. "Now I'll take you to your room."
"No, I'll go by myself," said Cassidy. He left the room and went to find his room.
