Hatori frozen in place did a double take. Was that Ayame, his Ayame, sitting there quietly reading? He did a second double take as he realized it was a historical book about samurai that had Ayame so engrossed. Hatori castiously walked over. Not sure this wasn't some sort of trap.
"Ayame?"
"Hmm?"
He didn't so much as glance up. This had never happened before.
"I want to go make passionate love to you on my desk."
He knew this was one of Ayame's fantasies they had yet to do and was sure that would grab his attention. He of course had every intention of following through with it. He would never hurt Ayame by refusing to do it after getting his hopes up.
"Ok, have fun," Ayame mumbled.
This shuck the good doctor to the core and he immediately put a hand to Ayame's forehead, damn no fever. Without a word he picked Ayame up making him squeal and drop the book on the floor.
"Tori! What in the world?"
"I'm going to give you an examination."
As he was carried away Ayame hide a knowing smirk.
