Ever since that incident with Lizzie, Numbuh 5 made it her personal mission to make Numbuh 1 feel better. Whether is was tempting him with ice cream, candy, or even telling him jokes or puns that she herself disliked, Numbuh 5 was more than willing to do it. And although she couldn't even get a tiny chuckle from him, she never stopped trying.
Each day she would come back and try to make him smile. And today, she finally succeeded. But despite that, Numbuh 5 felt empty inside.
She had a feeling it was because his smile was only half-hearted.
